We have stayed at Hali'i Kai before, but never in an upstairs unit. We loved having the 2 balconies and being upstairs with the enhanced sunset and ocean views. It was fabulous! This unit is very well-kept, and the property manager was super-responsive and very easy to deal with. This property manager does a mid-week clean and provides extra toilet paper (yes, our prior property managers have told us we have to buy our own toilet paper when we book a 2 week stay--unbelievable given Hali'i Kai prices!!!). We absolutely enjoyed this condo and this property manager especially. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
Great location for our conference. Beautiful sunsets.
The location was great and the view from each window was lovely. We enjoyed being so close to the ocean. Beds were very comfortable, a/c worked great. The only challenge was parking. We had 2 vehicles, and only allowed one space. We had to arrange parking each day with our older kids. Otherwise it was a great space. We would stay at this location again.
A wonderful location with everything you’ll need for a very comfortable stay. Just bring your clothes and a kick back attitude. The unit is exactly as advertised.
We loved the townhouse and the ocean view. Saw so many whales! Ate every meal on the deck table which sat 6 of us. The beds were super comfortable. The kitchen was well set up for cooking at home which we did. Only wish was to have a personal bbq at the condo as the BBQs were a distance away but not a big deal. Would return!
Property worked out great for our group of 5. Close to beaches and the pool was nice to have on the property.
We thoroughly enjoyed out stay at this unit and complex. We enjoyed the pool, the restaurant and the evening music. It’s a great location between the north end of the island and Kona. I highly recommend the unit. We had one minor issue we left the gate keys in the unit with the unit keys. Communication with the management company was difficult and not proactive. Would this keep us from staying and this complex again, no. Would we rent this unit again. I’m not sure. At the end of your stay don’t forget to take the gate key to the front office.
We had a lovely week at the property and truly enjoyed our stay. We loved the townhome and found the check-in/check-out process very easy. The townhome was spacious and clean. We cooked several meals and the facilities were great. Having some beach towels and chairs were really handy. The Ocean Club pool, gym, and restaurant were all wonderful. Views from the townhome were amazing. Location is fantastic! The listing should be updated just to remove the information regarding one of the beds being capable of splitting into two as this is not actually possible, but other than that, everything was just as promised.
over all property was excellent. view was incredible and rooms were terrific . very comfortable beds. but the guest bedroom mattress protector n sheets were dirty and we had to wash them after our first night. the lights dont work properly .deck off the kitchen light didnt work by the switch came on on its own. the guest bathroom upstairs shower leaked the carpet was wet. kitchen was well equipped and was nice to see cold drinks in the fridge when we arrived. Access to the pool was easy but drinks are very over priced . overall a great 11day vacation.
Very nice condo unit and property, prompt responses from the staff, friendly neighbors - worth a look if you are staying in Waikoloa.
