Great Condo that came perfectly equipped with towels, beach gear and well stocked kitchen. The plants around the balcony are gorgeous and the notes about local farmers markets were super helpful.

Really clean place (no sand on the floor as there usually tends to be in Hawaii despite cleaning). Very good instructions. They had all the amenities we might have needed and more - toaster, microwave, coffeemaker, keurig pods, etc. not a big deal- but the place doesn’t receive much natural daylight if you plan to be inside.

Very great rental for the price. It really is the perfect Kauai getaway and located just minutes from a classic Hawaiian experience in Hanalei town. Communication with the Property Manager once was very pleasant and helpful.

Check-in instructions were clear and the process was smooth. Great location with all the essentials available closeby. The Studio is equipped with all the amenities and also includes beach chairs, umbrella and a cooler which was a nice bonus. Would stay again!

Rick's place was a perfect home base for exploring the North Shore of Kauai, at an absolute bargain compared to other options. Comfy, quiet and conveniently located; only 10-15 min walk from a grocery store & restaurants and a short hike to a beautiful beach. He even has beach chairs/umbrella and snorkeling gear you can borrow!Loved the peaceful outdoor lanai to enjoy the local birds. Appreciated kitchen amenities like a toaster oven, foil/ziploc bags, salt/pepper/cooking basics, coffee maker and Keurig with some pods. 10/10 will visit again.

The condo grounds were beautifully kept and landscaped. Our condo space very clean and equipped with everything one may need. Rick, the owner, was very responsive to our messages made sure there was extra towels, shampoo, conditioner, etc… Also provided beach towels, chairs & sun umbrella. We enjoyed the deck and out staying.

Rick(owner)was very friendly and responsive. As soon as I made him aware the keurig in our unit was shot we had another one delivered to our door within the hour! Our little studio was cute and well equipped.All cooking and cleaning supplies we needed were supplied. Shower stocked with nice shampoos. Towels for the pool too.Unit was very clean with comfy queen bed.We enjoyed the polar bear plunge in the facility pool as well! We were surprised it wasn’t heated over the winter, but it felt great having it to cool down when needed!Highly recommend Rick and his little studio. It’s perfect for a single person or couple to enjoy staying in the North shore for a few days!

How was very accommodating. The place was very cute and welcoming. Many things were supplied to make our time there feel like home.

Clean and comfortable

The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and a spacious fridge! We were close to the pool and parking was super easy. The bed was super comfortable, shower was great and the bathroom had more than enough. Rick left all the beach supplies you’d need, including snorkeling gear! Wish I sat out on the terrace more so we will definitely try to book this place again. The trail to the smaller private beach was fun but definitely wear good hiking shoes especially if it rained! Definitely would suggest booking here if you have a rental car since you’re pretty close to Hanalei Bay and Anini beach! Easy and beautiful drive to other remote further beaches as well. Overall a great stay!

Our stay was short but it was a very sweet place.

Condo was very clean and in a great location. The complex was quiet and well taken care of and within walking distance to the market square. Would definitely stay here again.

No air conditioning and to advertise no air conditioning

We would and will stay again! The location was perfect for us. Everything was clean and as described. Appreciate the attention to detail in all of his communications. If you read all the information he provides both in emails and in well-organized binder Rick left, you shouldn’t have any questions. I wish all hosts were as descriptive. Thank you!

Such a great stay, 10/10 recommend

Great location, nice condo, only issue no a/c, nights were a warm with just the fans. (But there were 4 of them!) Really great having beach chairs, umbrella ( which was broken, the screw in bottom portion stripped out so couldn’t drill it into the sand), snorkeling gear for 2. Nice it had a toaster oven for cooking and a big fridge and freezer.

Overall we were very pleased with the location, amenities and how comfortable the apartment was. Although the apartment is compact, the space felt open and offered a large private patio with a lush tropical view, in addition to a community pool. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The check-in and check-out instructions, property and parking access, use of electronic devices in the apartment were very clear and easy to follow. However, the modem was tempermental and we could not access or log-into our streaming apps. The amenities were beyond awesome - beach chairs, beach umbrella and towels were provided for two, along with a cooler and ample shampoos, conditioners and toiletries. The kitchenette offered a microwave, toaster and toaster oven. We highly suggest that a hot plate be included for boiling water for cooking food, along with a metal tea kettle. The plastic water kettle created bad-tasting water and we did not feel that we could cook pasta or rice with it. For the price and location, we give 5 stars!

*The property was cute, having perfect space for a solo traveler. My suggestion would be to incorporate a hot plate or an electric stove/ skillet to be able to cook.*The breaker would pop if I left the toaster oven on too long.*The tv could be more user friendly. It kept saying it couldn’t find a connection to connect. Otherwise the owners intrusions to using the tv were great. The pool hours stated in the owners FYI booklet were incorrect. (I didn’t have a pencil to leave him a note :( … besides the cooking stuff, great time and great place.

Everything was perfect! Exactly as described and expected. We greatly enjoyed this cute bungalow on the north shore. Highly recommended and would come back in a heartbeat.

Given that this is Hawaii and it is a Studio rental the condition , cleanliness and facilities were very nice

My wife and I stayed for a week. Location was perfect for all the activities we had planned. The drive to the other side of the island wasnt very long (about an hour) so on days we ventured to the southern part of the island it was no problem. Check in process was easy and the condo was well stocked. Would highly recommend this property.

Everything was great about this vacation rental experience. Rick, the owner was incredibly helpful as we set things up, and while we were there, genuine aloha... There were no big issues, but he was immediately responsive & helpful. The unit was exactly as described, extremely clean and comfortable, perfectly set up for 2 guests in a lovely easy to find spot. (We also appreciated good quality fans, and enough of them during a very hot weekend.) Rick also provides extremely helpful info in the unit with a great map, about what to see and do, exactly how to find places-so we wasted no time figuring things out. We already know the area very well, but imagine to a first timer this info would be priceless. He even suggested a few things/places were unaware of-mahalo! It was an excellent experience. We'd love to come again and stay longer...

It was a great location. Close to many beaches, including one real secluded beach just down the street. Close to grocery stores and amazing restaurants. Response time from owner was very quick. Great experience.

Our stay here was great. The property was beautiful, in a great location and easy to access. Rick communicated with us very well, he responded quickly and was very professional. This property was wonderful for my wife and I on our honeymoon stay, however there is no A/C so it does get hot.

We absolutely loved our stay here, and it was the perfect location for the northside of the island. The place was clean, stocked with what we needed, and an incredible valiue.

We loved our time in Kauai and in the Paniolo condos. The room was clean and Rick had all the kitchen supplies you could need. One piece of advice, read through the red folder when you check in. It wasn’t until the morning we left that I realized we had snorkel equipment in a box on the porch and I never got to use it!

Such a cozy, well appointed space!

Stay was just ok. Instructions and parking directions were helpful. Ok clean. Nice little deck outside. The bed was a little too small and hard for two people and the kitchen lacked a stovetop. You could hear the people walking around above us when we were sleeping.

It was the perfect place. Clean and had everything I needed. Walking distance to Foodland and just overall beautiful. Perfect for a solo or couple trip no complaints

Rick was really responsive when we had a request. He let us check in early. The humidity caused us to need to hit a laundry facility half way through because the towels don’t dry very fast. An extra big POWERFUL fan would make it a little more comfy but it did cool down enough at night to sleep with the fans provided. Overall a really great stay, especially for the price. Location is nice. Thank you for the great stay.

My husband and I just spent 7 days here. The host, Rick, is true to his word about wanting to create a space that is restful, well equipped, and comfortable. We cooked full meals here using the toaster oven and hot skillet, enjoyed coffee on the porch, and loved walking to the beach that was just 8 minutes away. Would highly recommend staying here - it was quiet, felt safe, and a great distance from a lot of good adventure opportunities. Thank you for an awesome week on Kauai!

good location, quiet and peaceful area. the house included all the necessary accessories for a stay of a few days. in line with other accommodations in the place that are not luxury hotels.

Easy to find with the directions and check in process after a long flight. The property was clean and very lively from people taking walks and cats and chickens of course. Defiantly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay on the north side of Kauai. :)

Great location! Very convenient to Anini beach. Very clean, equipped with a good selection of kitchen gear (the French press and blender came in handy) and snorkel gear.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay in this compact condo! Rick has clearly gone to great lengths to provide everything vacationers could need from a small cooler chest for outings to a complete assortment of shower products and ample back up of tp and paper towels. The small kitchen set up was just right for prepping meals to cook on the grill by the pool. Overall great stay and we would book this unit again!
