Aloha! I’m Kalani, the proud owner of this wonderful 3-bedroom condo in the heart of Kauai’s lush North Shore. Welcome to Hale Kalani, a thoughtfully curated getaway where you can relax, recharge, and immerse yourself in the magic of the Garden Isle. As someone born and raised in Montana with a lifetime spent adventuring between the mountains and the Hawaiian Islands, I’ve created a home that reflects my love for nature, comfort, and connection. We’ve outfitted this space with all new linens, towels, eco-friendly cleaning products, and adorned it with local artwork to celebrate the spirit of Kauai. It’s a place filled with good vibes and thoughtful details. I am passionate about sustainability, supporting local businesses, and caring for this beautiful environment. My home is designed with these values in mind, and I invite my guests to join me in leaving a light footprint. After all, we have one world and one life—let’s do our part to take care of each other.
Hale Kalani is located in the peaceful Mauna Kai Condos, perfectly situated between the Prince and Makai Golf Courses. From the front door, you’ll enjoy ocean and mountain views, and easy access to some of the world’s finest tropical golf and surf. The Princeville town center is an easy walk away, offering local shops, dining, and a vibrant Saturday farmers market where you can stock up on fresh island produce. A 10-minute drive brings you to Hanalei, a charming town where rainbows, sunshine, boutique shops, and fantastic dining create an unforgettable experience. Right from your doorstep, a scenic 10-minute hike down the Queen’s Path takes you past a waterfall and down to Anini Beach. Protected by Hawaii’s largest coral reef, this beach offers calm, clear waters perfect for swimming, snorkeling, or simply relaxing. Nearby, you’ll find countless other beaches offering surfing, snorkeling, and the breathtaking natural beauty Kauai is known for.
The condo itself is a spacious 1,500 sq/ft townhome, designed with island flair and all the comforts of home. It includes two queen bedrooms, one king bedroom, and an open loft with a queen sleeper sofa—plenty of space for families or groups. Wood floors throughout give the home a clean, cool feel, while vaulted two-story ceilings with plantation-style beams create an airy, open atmosphere. Island-style louvered windows allow for excellent airflow, maximizing the cooling trade winds. The kitchen has been beautifully remodeled with granite countertops and maple cabinets and is fully equipped for everything from casual breakfasts to gourmet dinners. Local art, including Troy Carney’s interpretation of the Nā Pali Coast in the dining room, adds a personal touch that reflects the beauty of the island. Sustainability is a key feature here as well, with a solar electric system providing green energy and a solar water heater ensuring plenty of hot water while reducing environmental impact.
The Mauna Kai community offers the largest condo pool in Princeville, fully renovated in 2022 and solar heated for year-round comfort. It’s large enough to swim laps or simply float and relax. The poolside gazebo includes gas and charcoal grills, a fridge, sink, and even a ping pong table—perfect for a casual gathering or private party. Whether you’re headed to Hanalei Beach Park for soft waves and wade-in swimming, planning a Nā Pali Coast hiking adventure, or exploring Secret Beach, you’re just minutes away from some of Kauai’s most iconic experiences. Down the street, the Westin Resort offers luxury spa services, fine dining, and front-row seats to the famous Bali Hai sunset—the last sunset in the United States each evening. Bali Hai’s majestic profile is the beginning of the Nā Pali cliffs and provides an unforgettable backdrop for ocean cruises, helicopter tours, and romantic moments.
Hale Kalani includes high-speed Wi-Fi, cable, and Apple TV, as well as a variety of games and puzzles for unplugged fun. For outdoor dining, you’ll find a private BBQ on the lanai, surrounded by lush gardens and the soothing sounds of nature. The scents of tropical flowers fill the air, and on quiet days, you can sometimes hear the waves crashing at Anini Beach. After dark, the skies come alive with stars—perfect for stargazing from the hot tub or lanai.
Whether you’re here to surf, hike, golf, snorkel, or simply relax and unwind, Hale Kalani offers the perfect home base for your Kauai adventure. I look forward to welcoming you and sharing this special place that I call home.

Better than advertised! Communication was excellent, and property was perfect!
We really enjoyed our stay here. Kalani was very responsive and the place was just as described. My entire family had a great time and we loved the location. The layout of the house was great for me and my husband, our two kids, and my parents. We would definitely stay again in the future.
This was the perfect spot for our family. Wonderful property with great amenities (kids absolutely loved the pool)! Easy trips to so many beaches and Hanalei, we will absolutely stay here again!
The condo was comfortable and convenient to Princeville. If you haven’t stayed on Kauai before, and are a light sleeper, be aware that there are chickens everywhere that will wake you up at 4 am…with no AC in the condo, the temp was very comfortable but leaving the windows open meant waking up to roosters loudly crowing very early every morning! Parking was also a bit of an issue when we came back to the condo late, but we managed. We appreciated the beach chairs, towels and wagon. Overall, a nice home base for our family trip to the beautiful island of Kauai.
My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at our Princeville home for the week. Our family is comprised of two parents and older (17-22) aged kids. The kitchen was stocked with pots and pans and cooking utensils so that we could have a nice holiday meal. The beds were comfortable and we appreciated that beach towels were supplied. There was much to do that was a short walk away as well as plenty to do a short car ride away. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back.
We are local residents from the other side of the island and we were thrilled with our stay at hale Kalani. We loved cooking in the kitchen, and all the amenities it was a great place to enjoy time with the family. We will be returning.
Great spot to get away too. Close to beaches, stores, and parks. Good for anyone looking to get away from your busy everyday life. Was great with our 2-year old, took him down to the beach almost every day. Just be wary of the roosters, they make noise all day and night.
Wonderful Trip, wonderful Condo. Kalani was a great host! Very responsive in answering my questions. Condo was not perfect, but close. Kalani provided everything we needed for a perfect stay. We did a lot of cooking in, and the kitchen had all the tools and utensils we needed.
Our family (me, my husband, and four adult kids) really enjoyed our stay here. It was very clean, in a quite area, that is very close to the grocery store, park, ocean, and Hanalei Bay. Hanalei is really close and we loved our breakfast at Wake Up Delicious and definitely stop by Wishing Well Coffee &Tea. We hiked down to Anini beach while staying here, its quite the hike (the uphill part) but beautiful. They did not recommend swimming while we were there but it was a lovely place to walk along the beach. The pool at the property is really nice as well. I really loved all the toiletries provided, top notch stuff, and a nice tropical touch. Overall, this is a property that we would stay at again and would recommend it to others. I did not want to come home!
Our family of 5, including 3 adult children (27,25 and 16) thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful setting and well equipped condo. It was spacious and with three full bedrooms accommodated all of us in a most scenic and beautiful location. The unit had everything and more! Our host provided a binder of excursion ideas and dining venues. We participated in many tours and when we wanted to relax, both the pool and beach down the road was convenient. We highly recommend this unit and would return to this part of Kauai in time. Thank you!
Very comfortable Well appointed Nice location close to beaches, shopping and restaurants
Good location, in good condition. Near a lots of great beach spots, grocery store and restaurants. Ran low on soap and paper products as apparently things had been pretty hectic for the cleaning crew.
The condo was perfect for our group of 6. It was clean and well appointed. We liked the location, within walking distince (if you don't mind going up/down short but steep trails) to two beaches, a grocery store and several eateries/coffee shops. We did do a fair amount of driving to explore other beaches and other parts of the island, but didn't have to. Communications with the host and house cleaner were great and they were helpful when we needed help finding extra sheets. I'd definitely stay here again.
We loved staying here! Great location great property. We hope we can return.
Kalani's immaculate home in Princeville is nestled in a quiet garden setting minutes from Hanalei Bay. Check in instructions were straightforward and there was plenty of parking available. We were impressed with the spaciousness of the property - plenty of room for four adults plus extra - and the casual elegance of the decor was just right. Meticulously appointed, the home had everything we needed, and we appreciated that every single appliance and fixture worked. We loved the location, so close to the hiking, swimming, and sight-seeing we had planned around Na Pali. We can't wait to return!
Property was as advertised. Communication with the owner was easy and accurate. Well stocked kitchen and towels (beach and bath).
a very well equipped and furnished Princeville condo which easily accommodated our family of 6 adults The host was very responsive with queries about a couple of issues which she attempted to resolve as soon as possible the "short hike (10 min) " to the beach includes a 5 minute walk down the sidewalk then a climb down a very steep dirt trail for about 15 minutes making the local beach difficult to access and use - particularly if you hoped to take anything with you on that journey. It would be a challenging hike for small children or older adults. The return trip is quite step along the dirt path. It is much easier to drive to nearby Anini beach the condo pool does not have a hot tub instructions for leaving were very detailed and included requiring trash removal, cleaning and laundry requirements with a list of charges to be imposed if those instructions were not accurately followed Overall we enjoyed our stay at a beautiful location on the island
We had a very nice stay at Hale Kalani. We were 6 adults including 2 85 year old parents. Downstairs room with own bathroom was perfect for them. We made some great meals and enjoyed the space and outdoor terrace and BBQ. Walk to the Princeville village was nice, and walk to golf course and cliffs overlooking ocean also nice. Hiked down to the nearby beach as well. Outdoor shower handy for sand and mud. The pool area was also great for out family for poolside yoga, ping pong and swimming each morning. All and all great place and great location.
This condo was very comfortable and clean. Beach gear was nice, and beds were comfortable. My only complaint is that the swimming pool is actually quite small and there is no bathroom in the pool area so you have to go all the way back to your condo if you have to go! The hide a bed mattress was terrible, so don’t count on using that for extra sleeping space and a full length mirror would have been nice. In all, it was a great place to stay.
This place is incredible. Had a great stay with our family here. Cozy and quiet and easy to get around and to the beaches
