The Home:
Hale Awa'puhi is a blissful getaway on the oceans edge. This gorgeously renovated home invites the island "in" with sweeping ocean views and a fully retractable glass wall to create the ultimate open-concept living space! The living room, dining room, kitchen and lanai harmoniously become one space with cozy furnishings, tranquil colors and a private, serene oceanfront setting. The light, bright, beautiful kitchen features stainless steel appliances, a full-size gas range, ample preparation space and informal counter seating with beautiful quartz countertops. The nearly-single level, 1240 square foot floor plan is fully air conditioned and features two bedrooms, each with a full bathroom en suite. The third full bath and queen sofa sleeper make this home comfortable for up to 6 guests.

A very nice location and condo, but we had problems. First it advertises that it includes a Sonos sound system. My kids like to listen to music and none of us could get it to work. The 'support' never helped us with this despite multiple messages. The internet was spotty and dropped regularly. The grill did not work two of the three nights I purchased food for grilling and again the 'support' said 'this is the responsibility of the outside maintenance'. Last I asked where to take our trash and it took three days to get a reply. Too bad when you spend this kind of money you want to not have these kinds of problems.

Quiet and comfortable. This property is in a good location close to coconut marketplace where you can grab food and treats. Lovely ground floor walk out with easy access to pool. This unit worked great for our family of 5.

Property was in good location.
My family of 5 (3 kids under the age of 13) had a FABULOUS stay at this property. We would definitely come back. Kapa’a is a very convenient location- very close to the airport and easy to get to both the South and North side of the island. TONS of great food within walking distance (Kintaro, Napali Brewing Co, Fillo’s Kauai, Lava Lava Beach Club, Passion Bakery (malasadas)). The property itself was modern, spotless and roomy with a well stocked kitchen. Safeway, Costco and Target are not far so we were able to purchase food and do many meals at home. We watched the sunrise every morning. Beach toys for the kids are a plus. The beach outside the property is a little rough for swimming but there’s a sandbar that creates a calm enough pool for the kids to swim and even snorkel. Check-in was a little rocky- the email only provided a gate code, not the front door code which we didn’t realize until we got there. Luckily, Ashleigh responded to our calls very quickly and provided the right code. Be sure you have BOTH codes when you get your check-in info. Ashleigh/management were always very prompt in answering our questions, which we really appreciated! We absolutely loved this property and will look to stay here when we return to Kauai. The beauty of the island, the kind people and the aloha spirit have captured us!

Beautiful place with amazing views of the ocean. Just a short drive to Lydgate Beach for great swimming and snorkeling in the ocean.
The location of this property is hard to beat! We’ve vacationed on Kauai many times and it was our first time staying in Kapaa. It is now our go to location! The oceanfront views and the sounds of crashing waves were unexpected treats! The condo was great! Extra bathrooms, well appointed kitchen. We even made use of the games the host had available. It was a fantastic place to stay. Management was very responsive when we had issues with internet. Expect issues in the masterbedrm- I think issue is its location frankly. Rest of condo was fine after reboot. Overall it was amazing! And we are already planning our next stay.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything at this rental was amazing. The view was spectacular. The property is well maintained and very pretty. Itis a small complex, so there isn't alot of noise or foot traffic. It was in close proximity to shopping and restaurants. It's location on the island makes for easy driving to and from the North and/or South shores. The CBIP staff were helpful and very responsive to any questions or problems. Applause to Shannon who was johnny on the spot for a minor issue that popped up. We will be booking this unit again when we are back next year!!
