The Space:
This garden-level condo sleeps four in two bedrooms with three beds and two baths. The modern kitchen is set up for home-cooked breakfasts and easy dinners, with a dining table and private lanai that each seat four. Central air conditioning offers a welcome cool place to return to after the beach, while washer and dryer help keep sandy towels under control. The living spaces give a small group room to regroup, play, and plan the next day.
Guest Access:
This Regency condo in Poipu gives guests access to the shared pool and hot tub, plus beautifully kept grounds close to Brennecke's Beach. On site parking is available, and a short walk brings you to the Poipu Kai Greenbelt path and the beach.
The Neighborhood:
Poipu is Kauai's sunny South Shore, known for beach days that are simple to plan. Poipu Beach Park and Brennecke's Beach are local favorites for swimming, bodyboarding, and watching for turtles from shore. The Poipu Kai Greenbelt makes it easy to connect parts of the resort area on foot, while Old Koloa Town, restaurants, and shops are a short drive away. Getting Around:
Poipu sits on Kauai's sunny south shore, about 30 to 40 minutes from Lihue Airport. A rental car is recommended for exploring the island, though the resort area itself is walkable, with beaches, shops, and dining within a short stroll of most condos. The Poipu shopping village and popular snorkeling spots are just minutes away on foot or by a quick drive. Parking is generally available on site, keeping things easy.
Other Things to Note:
Please be advised that the Regency AOAO will be undertaking a major project to replaster and beautify the two swimming pools on the property. During construction, there will be periods of significant noise as the contractor performs saw cutting, demolition, removal of existing plaster, and replacement of accent tiles.
Please make note of the project schedule below. The timeframes include both the construction work and the manufacturer-recommended curing period for the new plaster. To minimize the impact on residents and guests, only one pool will be closed at a time, and the Poipu Kai Pool will remain open throughout the project.
October 4 – October 23: Pool 2 (behind Regency Building 7) will be closed.
October 25 – November 20: Pool 1 (located in the center of the complex) will be closed. (*Weather Permitting)

As with all outdoor construction projects, the schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions or other circumstances beyond the control of the contractor or Poipu Kai Association.

This was a perfect home base for our family - great location and stay!
Everything was great about this condo. Only complaint which is NOT to fault the location - because it was a ground floor unit, you could hear everything above you! Otherwise, great place with all the amenities you could need (boogie boards, beach towels, wagon, cooler, coffee maker with filters, etc.)
Nice Condo. The only problem was the cable stopped working for a day but was corrected.The toilet handle in the master bathroom sticks so the toilet runs unless one corrects it manually.
The condo was clean and comfortable. Needs a few updates. Some of the blinds didnt work and definetly needs a new coffee maker but overall great location close to everything in poipu. The people upstairs were very loud every night and all the way up to 2 am very inconsiderate. I have no idea what they were doing sounded like jumping and a lot of running.
The condo was clean and very conviently located to everything in poipu. Close to the beaches and many restuants and shopping places. The upstairs neighbors where loud and made a lot of noise all the way to 2 am in the morning. That was the only down fall.
Beautiful condo as described. More beautiful in person. Safe area. Easy access to beach and highways. Lots of eateries close by. Would definitely stay here again when visiting family on Kauai!!! Thank you owners for your hospitality! Mahalo, Lorna ( Kauai native)
The apartment was exactly as advertised. We really enjoyed our stay. We did have an issue checking in as the electronic lock was not working, but after some time with the 800 number we were able to access it with a key. The property manager did a good job of communicating with us and getting it fixed.
Just as described. Perfect location for walking to the beach. Close to restaurants and food trucks. Wouldn’t change a thing.

Not much to see other than parking lot or the building next door. Great A/C
Good location on "green belt" midway between Shipwreck and Brennecke/Poipu Beaches. This unit is a bit dated and could use a furniture upgrade - but A/C is a big plus as many units in Regency do not have A/C. Units without A/C tend to smell musty.
