I stayed in room D-105. The location was great and the pool / hot tub was wonderful. The koi pond was amazing. The staff was helpful and kind and was always ready to help. However the a/c unit location did not cool the whole condo and we had to bring the mattress out into the living room and move all the furniture around so the air could move about and stay cool. One of the burners on the stove wasn’t working and neither was the tv in the bedroom. The WiFi was turned off when we got there so we had to have someone come in and help. I think it’s ridiculous that you only get a tiny kit for necessities like dish soap and laundry but then the hotel doesn’t supply more after. Staff, location, and pool gets 10/10 but that room gets a 2/10
Quiet property that met our needs. Well maintained unit and property. Centrally located to everything on the island. Easy access to food and amenities. Would stay here again.
Beautiful condo, clean, great location! Only recommendations…condo needs tongs for bbq-ing, we brought our own laundry soap and dishwasher soap. It was perfect!!!!
we reported a faulty air conditioner early on in our stay and the day we left, they came and replaced it. not great customer service.
Our stay was perfect in every way. The unit was clean, very pleasant with wonderful positioning and the sea visible. It was accurately portrayed in advertising. Its location was perfect- a few minutes walk to food trucks, the fish market takeout and more. I’d stay there again in a heartbeat.
Our family of 4 had the most incredible time staying at this unit! We loved being able to wake up with a cup of coffee on the patio while our kids ran around in the grass, and we soaked in the peaceful water fountains in the ponds! (Our kids were obsessed with the massive coy fish). The unit is perfectly located near the amazing pool and the ocean where we spent a ton of time, with great beaches nearby! Right from the complex, we saw whales (!), seals, sea turtles and incredible sunsets! Can not recommend this place enough! Felt like a home away from home!

So we had 7 awesome days at this great resort and then noticed water coming down through kitchen ceiling. Called the number we had and they were on it! Unfortunately it was a bit of a catastrophic issue where we had to get compensated but they did great and we have to give Allan 5 stars on his mitigating abilities. Well done!!
Condo was very convenient with easy access to parking, pool and other amenities. Lovely private garden setting from the lanai made sitting out to enjoy coffee at the table a pleasure. Enjoyed our stay and new cinnamon roll bakery at the end of the driveway!
This was our third stay at Papakea. We like the fact that is quieter than many of the other locations on Maui. The patio gave a lovely view onto the property.
This is a great place to stay, tucked in between Kaanapali and Napili, most everything on the west side is all within reach from this spot. It doesnt feel as touristy or resort-ey at this property or in this area. Its connected to an ABC store so very convenient and basically across the street from some of the best fish and fish tacos on the island, as well as a couple supermarkets and food trucks. The condo itself is just what you need, nothing fancy but its got what u need. Bedroom with a comfy bed, pull out bed in the living room, big enough kitchen and a bathroom with a shower. Everything worked great. The ground floor condo opens to a koi pond and is a 100 yard grassy walk to the sea wall/ocean. We spent every sunrise here. The only knock on this location and its really not a big deal but Papakea resort doesnt have its own beach, u have to walk to just the resort south for some beach action, but its not far at all and easily accessible, also the condo has a couple beach chairs and boogie boards you can bring and the beach just south is really nice!!!
