Unfortunately, the condo showed its age, with old, semi-functional appliances and dinged walls and corners. The little patio off the master bedroom was overgrown, with a broken trellis tossed in the corner. Didn't seem anyone had tended to it in months.

We had a lovely visit here. This unit was very comfortable, clean, and well appointed. It had everything we needed, and more. It has a fully equipped kitchen complete with dishwasher, microwave, stove/oven, coffeemaker, blender, and toaster. It has laundry facilities within the unit, and a beautiful lanai as well. The bed was comfortable and there were ceiling fans and air conditioners. We were also pleased with the location of the unit, just a short walk across the street to the beach. In addition we used the gas bbq grills adjacent to our unit. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The condo was perfect for our stay on Maui. It was centrally located. Staying in a condo works out great for us, allowing us to prepare meals and relax at "home" after a day of snorkeling or hiking.

This unit looks great in the photos online but renters beware! The sofa sleeper mattress is in such poor condition it is unusable. All of the linens need to be replaced, the kitchen is so minimally stocked it is difficult to cook (not one pan available to put in the oven), the lampshades are filthy and stained, the bathroom fixtures need to be updated as they are caked in what looks to be mineral buildup. This unit needs to be taken off the rental market to be painted, replace all linens, replace the old, stained draperies, purchase decent plates and kitchen items, buy new lamp shades, replace the sofa sleeper, replace the area carpet in the living room, toss out the old, dusty plastic plants, and update the seventies art. On the plus side the unit itself is large and quiet and it has a washer and dryer.

We enjoyed our 2 weeks at Maui Kamaole, especially laying by the Tropical pool with it's beautiful setting of vegetation all around. This particular unit is fairly private and while the a/c and the showers are aging our stay overall was comfortable.

extremelly rude staff. spaciuos appartment, everything inside but really could use some cleaning and could use a new bed cover for the bedroom, for the money we paid.... too many rules more like a hospital for seniors and not a vacation place.
