Property Overview
The Fairways at Mauna Lani is a privately-gated development located in the prestigious Mauna Lani Resort located on the sunny Kohala Coast of the Big Island. Enjoy golf on the world-renowned championship Frances H. I'i Brown North and South Golf Courses. Mauna Lani also has a private gated Beach Club at no extra charge with a restaurant. You can also relax at the free-form pool with baby area, waterfall and Jacuzzi right at the Fairways Town home at no charge. There is a full workout facility on property at no charge for your convenience.
The town home is located on the Fourth Fairway of the North Course and has been beautifully decorated by an interior designer. Enjoy the sunsets from the two covered lanais. The living and dining room areas are spacious and there is seating for eight at the dining room table with three additional bar stools. In addition to the King bed in the Master Suite and the guest bedroom that has two XL Twin Beds that can be converted to a King Bed we have also supplied you with one twin airbed, 19 inches in height (linens and pillows included) to accommodate extra guests. There is room in the master bedroom for their use. The gas barbecue and wet bar is on the lanai.
It is 700 yards to the beautiful Fairmont Orchid Hotel which has public beach access to a beautiful white sand beach, water sports, and exquisite dining. There are several fine dining restaurants at the Fairmont Orchid and the Auberge Resort. The Fairmont Orchid has a dinner with a luau type of performance. There is a Tommy Bahama Restaurant with a good Happy Hour, Juice 101, and a new Coffee Shop in the Mauna Lani Shopping Center. There is a Snorkel Bob's where you can rent equipment for the week for $9 - $35 /week. Enjoy the self-guided walking tour, featuring archaeological sites with petroglyphs, historic park land, and the Kalahuipuaa Fishponds. Other nearby resort hotels include Auberge Mauna Lani Resort and Bungalows, Westin Hapuna Hotel, Mauna Kea Resort, and the Hilton Waikoloa where you can swim with the dolphins. It is a eight minute drive to Hapuna Beach which has the best bodysurfing and boogie-boarding on the island.
* Spacious 2289 square feet (including the garage and lanais) with a King bed in the master suite and a lovely sitting area with chaise, private lanai overlooking the golf course, large master bath with large whirlpool tub, separate roomy walk-in shower, double sinks with granite counter tops, separate toilet room, and plenty of closet space. Guest bedroom has 2 Twin XL Beds that can be converted to a King Bed with its own bathroom with a tub/shower combination and single sink with granite counter.
The kitchen is fully supplied with everything you need to cook as this is our second home and have it stocked for entertaining.

Fairways condo's at Mauna Lani are on the the best places you can stay on the Big Island. Gail's place is very nice. She allowed us to check in a little early upon our arrival which was great except the place wasn't fully cleaned when we arrived so we did end of doing quite a bit of cleaning on our own though it didn't impact our overall experience. Unit is spacious and well equiped with everything you need.
The house was perfect for our family. The rooms are big and the house is well stocked with everything you need to have a nice Hawaiian vacation. We enjoyed our stay.
The condo was veery clean. The view is amazing and very private. The condo has everything you need and the kitchen is well stocked with plenty of dishes and utensils.The owner is great to work with and responds in a timely manner. I would stay here again in a heart beat.
We had a great week at this condo in the Fairways at Mauna Lani. This condo was exceptionally well stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The main bedroom was spacious with an en suite and great bed. The second bedroom was enough room for our two teen boys to share. The living space was spacious. We really appreciated the small touches such as some condiments being available, great cooking equipment, great sheets, etc. The condo had beach chairs, umbrellas and some snorkelling gear. The pool was a good size. The location cannot be beat with Hapuna beach within a seven minute drive and the beach club just minutes away for great snorkelling. We love the big island and this condo did not disappoint. Gail was responsive and great to deal with! We would definitely rent this condo again~!
My family stayed in Gail's lovely home for 12 days. It is one of the nicest rental homes that we have ever stayed in. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked with everything we needed for our stay. Access to the beach club was terrific as well as all the other amenities at the resort. Gail's tips about discount golf fees were great! We hope to be back!
