This is a convenient neighborhood for families who want a nearby beach and do not want to spend every vacation day driving across the island.

Getting Around:

Lihue Airport is only about 10 minutes away, making this one of Kauai's most convenient home bases. A rental car is recommended for exploring the island's beaches and towns, though groceries, shopping, and dining are often close by. Lihue's town center offers some walkable errands, with nearby beaches just a short drive. Parking is generally easy, available on site or in nearby lots.
