Property Overview
This loft style condo with its vaulted ceilings, large windows and new paint, is clean, bright and cozy. It has two queen size beds in both the master and loft bedroom.. The loft bedroom has a full bathroom with a shower and the bathroom downstairs has been remodeled and has shower/tub combo.
The kitchen is fully equipped to cook all meals or you can enjoy a Bar-b-que on ground level with a picnic area which is available for all units.
Perfect central location to enjoy all that the island has to offer. Staying in Kihei you can walk to Kamaole Beaches, cafes, and shops or enjoy a scenic drive to other parts of the island.
Renting a car is ideal but there is bus service that runs down S. Kihei Rd. daily as well as Uber/Lyft or taxi/shuttle service.
GUEST RENTAL AGREEMENT –
1. CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT - Check-in time is 4 p.m. Hawaii time & Check-out time is 11 a.m. Hawaii time. Late check-out will result in an additional charge unless arrangements are made IN WRITING.
2. NO SMOKING - This is a NON-SMOKING unit.
3. NO PETS - Pets are not permitted
4. Hawaii State Taxes: the tax rate is always subject to change, by the State of Hawaii. We are mandated to collect these taxes and pay them. Therefore, if the tax rate changes prior to your dates of stay, we will need to collect any additional taxes due prior to your arrival.
5. CANCELLATIONS - A sixty (60) day notice is required for cancellation of a reservation. Cancellations that are made more than sixty (60) days prior to arrival date will incur no penalty. Cancellations made within sixty (60) days of the arrival date may forfeit the full advance payment. Refund eligibility and processing times may vary depending on the platform through which your reservation was made (e.g., Airbnb, Vrbo, or direct booking). that result in shortened stay or early departure does not warrant any refund of rent. We recommend trip insurance to protect against unforeseen cancellations or changes. If you are due a refund, a 9% fee will be charged due to credit card charges. A refund will be issued within 72 days (M-F). We have no control over the amount of time the credit card takes to issue the check.
6. MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY - The maximum number of guests for the agreed upon rate in this unit is four (6).
7. INCLUSIVE FEES - Rates include a one-time clean linen/towel setup. Maid service is available at an additional cost. If you are interested, please let us know in advance. However, laundry/dish soap and enough paper products to last a few days are provided. Guests must purchase additional paper products as needed but need not re-stock at check-out.
8. RATE CHANGES - Rates are subject to change without notice but will not be changed on any reservation already confirmed.
9. FALSIFIED RESERVATIONS - Any reservation obtained under false pretenses of any kind will be subject to forfeiture of advance payment, deposit and/or rental money, and the party will not be permitted to check-in. If discovery of false pretenses are discovered after check-in, party will be evicted without a refund of any monies.
10. PARKING – Parking is not assigned, but please go directly to the Office prior to 4:30pm on M-F located in Building 1. There you will need to register for your temporary parking pass, the pass is free but must be obtained to avoid getting towed. They will need the license number and make of your car and condo unit number.
If you arrive after regular office hours, you are fine to park overnight without a pass. Just be sure to check in with the office first thing in the morning to get your pass.
11. RULES - In addition to the conditions of this Rental Agreement, guests are required to obey any rules put forth by the resort. Pay particular attention to the rules posted in the Pool area regarding food and glass.
12. PERSONAL BELONGINGS - Tenants shall be responsible for their personal belongings and agree to hold the Owners harmless for any loss due to theft, or damages to or by them while occupying the unit.
13. INSECT CLAUSE: Hawaii has one of the most enjoyable ecosystems on earth, and insects are a part of that system. We try to control this natural occurrence by regularly spraying for insects. The most common pests that may find their way into the property include ants, small beetles, gnats, mosquitos, geckos, and even cockroaches. Naturally, it is a good idea to keep the doors closed while enjoying our island, but that will not necessarily eliminate all occurrences of insects. We do not offer refunds or adjustments for pest control issues. If you notice a problem, please call Holly so we can handle it.
By booking with us, each adult guest acknowledges that they have read, understand, and will abide by the terms and conditions of this Rental Agreement.

My daughter and her family had a wonderful time staying here and it worked out perfectly for us with me staying in the condo next door. We had an ocean view from the 4th floor and the cathedral ceilings were beautiful. The proximity to Charley Young beach made it so easy to walk over with my two grandkids. I’m so glad that we chose this complex for our week long stay.
Overall, good place. Nice sized fridge, ceiling fans and 2 air conditioners. Comfortable beds, with nice pillows. Tuberware in kitchen was great for leftovers. Easy to manuever parking lot, and getting parking permit was a breeze. Check in and out had no issues. Barbecue area was handy.Best part: quiet area, no loud noises at night.Cleaniness in bathroom we rated lower as the tub looked a bit dirty and two of the towels had either dirt or stains.Smart TV was big, but kept buffering/losing internet connection.Pool was a bit small, but there was a nice hose for car washing in the parking lot, which was a bonus. Close to Charlie Young Beach, easy walking distance.
This was our family's second visit to Maui and this condo was perfect for our needs! Maui Vista isn't high end, and some things in the condo were a little outdated, but we chose to spend money on experiences and dining rather than an extravagant condo we only slept in. The location is amazing: a short walk across the street to Charley Young Beach (Kam 1), which has everything you'd want! The snorkeling at this beach was great with a variety of fish and several turtles! The waves were great for boogie boarding and the beach is large enough to spread out from other groups. We also walked less than 1/2 mile to restaurants and shopping. The condo has 3 beach chairs (it would be much more convenient if there were 4) and a beach mat, 4 nice beach towels, a few coolers, sand toys and a few pool noodles. I also appreciated the Britta pitcher in the fridge for filtered water. The condo was definitely clean, but the only thing I would change is the shower curtain in the main bath has a cloth liner and the bottom was stained from sand and that made it feel unclean. I would recommend a plastic shower liner. Also, there were only 4 bath towels, so we had to wash those a few times through the week. I would have been appreciated to have 8 towels total. The value of this condo was a good match for our expectations and we will be back for another stay at Maui Vista!
Everything was great with our stay the reclining couch was so comfortable .main ac could use a refresh other than that the kids loved their loft space and we really enjoyed our stay close to the beach!
It had the essentials and in a good location. Overall clean but mold growing on air conditioning wood area. Air conditioning was very small and did not cool down the condo to a comfortable temperature. Couldn't use stove or oven due to the added heat. It took a day to cool to a bearable temperature.The bedroom portable ac’s exhaust gave off so much heat that it heated the room. It was at least 10 degrees hotter in bedroom. Please do not rent this if you are not used to high temperatures and humidity. It was not enjoyable and definitely not worth the price you paid to be uncomfortable.
I like the rental location and cleanliness and good service. Manager Sarah reply my text right way when I lose my checkin information. I will book here again in my next trip.
Condo was everything it said it would be. It was very clean and had everything we needed. Little warm upstairs but all the fans helped.
The manager was very helpful. The loft is great. The upstairs shower is ridiculously tiny and shower head just doesn’t fit the space. For a 10 night stay for 4 adults, we were provided 1.5 rolls TP and 1 roll very cheap roll paper towels. And two laundry detergent pods. 2 wash cloths and 2 hand towels were provided. Only 4 bowls so you have to run dishwasher after every meal. Kitchen not well stocked. We asked for more of the above supplies and they were provided 2 days later. This unit is very overpriced, even for Maui. I would not stay here again. We have stayed in 3 other condos in kihea and the others were nicer and less expensive. The photos make it look larger than it is. Kitchen is tiny. Again the manager was kind but the place gets 3 stars max.
Overall, condo was alright. The things that were not good are as follows: The communication with the property manager. Left messages via VRBO and phone messages stating there was a problem with the tv/cable remote not working and received no replies or call backs on how to resolve issue [so no tv all weekend]. Another problem was the cooking utensils being oily/dirty so did not utilize during stay.
We would have spent twice as much at a hotel, and had only half as good of a time. It was a short trip, so being right across the street from the beach allowed us to maximize our sun time. We also chose to walk to the restaurants, so we could enjoy the Mai Tais. The second story loft was perfect for my son and his guest. They had their own bathroom and privacy. This isn't a five star resort, but if that's what you want, plan to spend twice the amount for your trip - we chose to use the savings to go on snorkeling excursions, a luau, and all the wonderful food trucks on the island.

This was a great vacation rental!! So much fun.
Overall we did enjoy the condo as the location was nice. However, I think the housekeeping was severely lacking. There was a lot of dust in the condo and there was a lot of mold in the downstairs tub. The condo also seemed set up for only 2 people as there were only 2 washcloths, 2 beach towels, and 2 beach chairs in the condo.
