The Neighborhood:
Kapaa is one of Kauai's easiest places to settle into island time. Coconut Marketplace is an easy walk for coffee, restaurants, shops, and groceries. The Ke Ala Hele Makalae path nearby runs alongside the ocean and is a favorite for a walk or bike ride. Wailua River is close for kayaking, with Opaekaa Falls and lush East Side scenery just inland. Kapaa town's food spots and local shops are nearby by car. This is a flexible central base for travelers who want beach days close, with the North Shore and Lihue both reachable for day trips.
Getting Around:
Kapaa sits along Kauai's Royal Coconut Coast, about 15 to 20 minutes from Lihue Airport. A rental car is recommended for exploring the island, though the main strip along Kuhio Highway is walkable, with beaches, shops, restaurants, and the popular coastal path all within easy reach on foot. Grocery stores and casual dining are close by. Parking is generally available at condos and along the street, making this an easy, low stress base.

The grounds were beautiful and the view from our room was nice
This was a fantastic place! It was a super convenient spot to get to all sides of the island.

Comfy beds, nice deck furniture, good place to crash while adventuring.
We enjoyed staying in this room. Close to the beach where there is a nice walking path. Walking distance to restaurants and a shopping center with a market for breakfast foods and snacks. Good middle location for travels to the north shore or to Port Allen or Poipu and the canyon on the other side. Did I mention the A/C was super quiet! A great relief to discover that!
Great sized room, tv was a really good size and the bathroom was fully stocked with plenty of towels. I would definitely recommend this unit.

This condo has a fabulous view it is so comfortable! It had everything we needed for the three of us to enjoy our three week vacation. It`s so convenient and stocked with things that many of the other condos didn`t have. Unit 211 is really perfect location for your vacation. Highly recommended! The rental was in the perfect location. It was half way between the island, so if you went left or right it was about the same time to get anywhere. It is real close to lots of shopping and the airport. The room was very spacey and so was the bathroom. Loved the balcony to view the pool and the ocean. The gardening is breathtaking. We loved the location!!! It was a short walk to the beach and the pool on the property. It was an easy check-in and check-out process. The room was spacious and had a microwave and fridge which we really appreciated. The only issue was the room had an old odor. We smelled it as soon as we walked in.
