***Please be advised that Honolulu rentals are legally required to adhere to a minimum stay of 90 days. However, we are among the select few properties that have been grandfathered in, allowing us to legally offer stays of 30 days or more. If you're considering a booking for less than 90 days, you can be confident that you are booking with a fully compliant and legal rental operation.
Due to stringent short-term rental regulations, we are required to enforce a 30-day minimum stay policy. However, you are welcome to stay for a shorter duration as long as the booking covers the 30-day period. Please feel free to contact us with any questions regarding this policy.
If your preferred dates are unavailable, we encourage you to reach out with your inquiry, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.***
Please be aware that you will be staying in a 10-unit walk-up condominium that is both owner and renter occupied, so please be respectful of your neighbors, especially in regards to daytime and nighttime noise. As well, please choose a a vehicle that fits in the parking stall. The stall won't be able to accommodate bigger vans or trucks.
This condo is located on a quieter side street in Metro-Honolulu. However, we are next to other condominiums and so there may be some noise from neighbors and vehicles. The noise level is pretty standard for nearly all residential areas that are as centrally located as us.
As a heads up, there is an HOA agreement that you will need to sign, along with providing your contact information to the HOA board in case they need to communicate with you. The agreement is very reasonable. Let me know if you'd like to review this document before you book with us.
**Lastly, please understand that we only provide a starter supply of toilet paper, paper towels, soaps and essentials. The rest of the stay, you will need to supply these items on your own.**

Erik is a nice owner and very responsive to inquiries. My following comments are based upon facts. The positives: Erik and some of the neighbors are very nice. The bed mattresses are newish. The not-so-positives (I have pictures to support all of this): The condo and its contents are dated and worn. Couch seams are torn and chairs are stained. The kitchen, pots/pans, stove, ceiling fans, floor fan were not cleaned when I arrived (Erik did give me a discount). The building, and adjacent buildings, have dogs that bark constantly. Neighbors have domestic disputes routinely which the police respond to. Marijuana smoke enters the condo every night and on weekends. The condo has roaches (the owner has traps which are supposed to be good for 1 year but do not work). On-site parking only supports sub-compact vehicles (I have a Mini Cooper and still had to squeeze in and out). The 10-year warranty smoke detectors expired and sounded all day while I was at work. I had to leave work early to disassemble the detector to get it to stop sounding- disturbing the neighbors. These are the significant experiences during my stay. Erik was notified of all of this by myself during the stay and I provided pictures to him. I am available to respond to any questions or clarify any statements.
