A-Bay's wide shoreline is good for a beach afternoon, sunset watching, or getting out on the water with a local outfitter. Around the resort, lava-rock paths, fishponds, and fairways give the area its unmistakable Hawai'i Island look. Families and couples choose this pocket for warmth, convenience, and plenty to do without a long drive.
Getting Around:
Kona International Airport is roughly 20 to 30 minutes away, an easy drive up the Kohala Coast. A rental car is recommended to reach beaches, restaurants, and the resort area's shops with ease. Waikoloa Beach Resort keeps some shopping and dining walkable, while nearby beaches and Waikoloa Village are a short drive. Parking is generally available in resort lots or on site at most properties.

We loved this beautiful place and the location. The neighborhood felt safe and was lovely. We enjoyed our walks in the mornings. It was a great place to stay!
We loved our stay
There was excellent communication and questions were answered quickly. The condo is very spacious, quiet, and comfortable.
Could use some extra towels, some lotion or something, Ziplocs coffee grinder, more comfortable outside chairs on the patio. The backings are very hard to sit. Dining room table base is loose and wobbly needs to be repaired. Outside grill needs to be cleaned heavily from the bottom it caught on fire buildup of grease, etc.. we did very much enjoy our stay. We love the pool area in the convenience of being so close to the shops and market restaurants Thank you.
Nice and confortable condominium in prime location. Ideal if you are a golf fan !
