Large nice house with everything needed for a relaxing stay.
Quiet, beautiful views of sunrise over the ocean, cool geckos inhabit the property. A place for a restful home base, convenient to Hilo.
Gorgeous home with gorgeous views!
Close enough to everything to be convenient but far enough away to be quiet. There are lovely views and nice breezes. Make sure you call for the lock box code in advance…there’s a keypad you get the code for but also a key lockbox and that code was not provided with check in instructions. Also plan on bringing your own drinking water…one jug was provided which was really nice but you may need more depending on how long you stay. Overall a lovely home and we loved our time there.
The home itself is beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean, and incredibly comfortable. Every detail has been thought of, from the well-equipped kitchen to comfortable bedrooms, making it feel like a true home away from home. The hosts were incredibly responsive, gracious, and provided excellent recommendations, making our trip seamless and enjoyable. Their attention to detail truly made a difference. If you're looking for an unforgettable Hawaiian getaway with ocean views, comfort, and a serene atmosphere, look no further.
Great view.
After a long day of fun in Hilo town. This house was the perfect peaceful retreat. Lots of space, very clean, so beautiful. There are even goats in the front yard which my six year old thought was the coolest thing ever.
Comfortable and peaceful. The home is a bit remote with 1 neighbor. Beautiful view and when opened up, the trades blew through cool wind. Quiet.
Nice house with lovely view. Cleanliness was excellent. Darkness at night when we arrived was daunting... motion lighting turned on would have been helpful. Otherwise, overall, a very nice stay. Thank you.
Convenient to Hilo. Wonderful local food store. The view is superb. Lots of fans. Adequate kitchen. Beds ok. I'll be back. Recommended.
Overall, we had a great stay. House was clean, beds comfortable and kitchen well stocked with cooking utensils and dishes. There were some spices, and cooking oil in the pantry when we arrived, probably left by previous guests. Internet connection was great so we were able to watch Netflix and other streaming channels for which we had accounts for. The house is not air conditioned (which we were aware of) but with all the fans on and windows opened, the breeze flowing through the house made it okay most of the time. The only thing that was a negative was the ability to see the house number and driveway entrance as the grass around the post and entrance was overgrown. We learnt to watch for the road marker for mile 20.0 then looked for the stop sign on the right side of the road a little further down from the marker, to locate the driveway entrance to the house on the left, when coming from Hilo. All-in-all, a pleasant stay.
Beautiful home in great location for seeing the Hamakua Coast
We really enjoyed this space! Well stocked and great for families with an amazing view
spacious and clean except many kitchen pans etc. - could be more homey
We loved this place so much! Thoughtful furnishings, a very nice house, but best of all is the location! We saw whales, stars, goats, wild pigs, sunrises, ships and barges, beautiful waves, and fruit trees. It was peaceful and quiet—away from all the people and bustle. But a quick trip to Hilo and other small towns with amenities. Perfect location to go to Volcanoes or just anywhere on the island.
We loved the seclusion of the property. It was peaceful and quiet! The porch was wonder to sit on and enjoy the views. It was open and spacious, had everything we needed and the beds were very comfortable. The book with all the o for in it was wonderful.
