Getting Around:
Lihue Airport is about 30 to 40 minutes away, a pretty drive across Kauai's south shore. A rental car is recommended to reach Poipu's beaches, Koloa town's shops, and nearby dining with ease. Old Koloa Town is walkable for boutiques and restaurants, while beautiful beaches are just a short drive away. Parking is generally available on site or in small lots around town.

This was a great little place to stay! Perfect for my husband and I. It was very clean. The location was beautiful right on the water. The communication was great. We would definitely stay there again

Lovely condo. We loved watching turtles in the bay from the porch and sunset from the beach access. Highly recommend getting a dinner reservation next door as well. Easy walk to the shopping center about 0.5 mile away.
The condo was comfortable for just the two of us. The location was excellent! It is close to many activities, ocean front with stunning views. The king sized bed was a treat at the end of a busy day. There were a few annoying things, some of which could not be helped. The in unit AC was broken. We were told ahead of time and there were two portable AC units placed inside. They worked well but were quite noisy. The wifi internet repeatedly disconnected. It must be an ongoing problem, as it was mentioned in the things to know notebook. It was a pain! Sure wish the was a washer and dryer in the unit. It cost 12 for two loads of laundry. It would have been greatly appreciated to have a few more things in the kitchen, such as baggies, foil, and maybe a few spices.Even with the annoyances we would stay here again.Aloha!
Great place to stay
Great central location. We enjoyed watching the young surfers who took advantage of a swell. We could hear chairs moving in condo above us. But it was on rare occasions and didn’t bother us. The beach next door is not the best for swimming as there are many rocks. There are lots of beaches nearby. Our favorites, though, were on the north shore. We really enjoyed our stay! Mahalo!
This oceanfront property had everything we needed, and as a bonus we saw turtles right from our balcony.

We love Kuhio Shores and found this unit just perfect. Incredible ocean and cove views from the patio, Sparkling clean theoughout with well stocked kitchen, towels, linens and beach items. The bed was very comfortable. Vacasa was responsive with a minor TV issue.
The property was more than adequate for our 4 day stay. Loved the location!
