Property Overview
You will not find a more affordable unit. 2 bed, 1.5 bath, end-unit. There is no air-conditioning because of a complaint from a nasty neighbor (who lives in another building) Therefore the nightly rate was adjusted by over $50 per night. We added cooling, evaporative coolers. Breezes flow through the unit and there are tall fans in every room.
Ideal location on Kauai’s eastern shore. Located next one of the largest coconut groves on the Garden Island. Just outside the unit is Ke Ala Hele Makalae Coastal Path, a walk-bike path, which runs for 9 miles along Kauai's coastline from Wailua, Kapa`a, Kealia, and Anahola.
This is one of only 12 units on the ocean (quiet) side of complex and is a convenient location for driving to the the North Shore( NaPali Coast) and the South Shore (Poipu). The complex is not a resort but is adjacent to the unique, oceanfront walking/jogging path. Grab your morning coffee. You are steps away from a delightful morning walk.
Updated, full resort kitchen with high-gloss cabinets, Beautiful, Acacia wood countertop and 6' long sideboard for additional small appliances and kitchen items.
This complex (Village Manor) does not have a pool or resort amenities. But it is 190 yards from the ocean and is insulated from the main thoroughfare by being a block toward the coastline off a small road that serves very few properties. And it is just a short walk to a lava rock enclosed, ocean water swimming pond.
The living room has a new sofa. Both bedrooms have queen beds, quality linens. Ocean-facing bedroom has attached half bath and TV. Each bedroom has high-volume ceiling fans.. The second bedroom faces the landscaped front area with tropical foliage.
A full bath has a double tiled shower, new vanity and provides separation between the bedrooms.
This is a bottom level, end-unit in a 2-story complex of just 24 units. Generous greenbelts are on the side and rear. A concrete privacy wall separates the green belt from the adjacent, coastal walking/biking path that runs in both directions along the oceanfront.
There are many restaurants and shops within a short walk. Free parking for two vehicles (one assigned space, one unassigned) WI-FI is available with an additional WI-FI as a backup.
Upgrades include tile flooring, double shower, new vanities in full and half bath, two HD-TV's, bar seating and pull-down shade on the back lanai.

Lanai cabinet has beach storage for boogie boards, beach mats, beach bags, beach umbrella and coolers.
Opening the doors to the covered front and back lanais allows breezes to flow through the kitchen and the living room. Bedrooms are located on greenbelts and have lots of natural light. The back bedroom faces a greenbelt with a newly constructed privacy fence. The front bedroom faces a landscaped area adjacent to the parking. All rooms have overhead fans.
This is one of the few locations on Kauai you can enjoy without a rental car. Take a 15-minute taxi ride (7 miles) from the airport. Or let your friends and family take the car for the day while you enjoy walking to beaches, shopping, restaurants and nearby resorts. Rent a bike and enjoy a coastal ride near restaurants and shops. Snorkeling and protected ocean swimming is a short distance away at a nearby lava rock enclosed swimming area. (We recommend swimming only at lifeguard protected areas.)
The unit is located on the narrow strip of land on the ocean side of the highway. Upscale resorts are within walking distance. Walk across the street to two shopping centers to enjoy coffee, grocery shopping and restaurants. There is an oceanfront restaurant just steps away from the unit.
We invite up to 4 people to enjoy the convenience of a bottom floor, end-unit with no elevators, no lobby, no stairs. The unit is approximately 700 SF interior space plus covered front and back lanai space.
Free parking is directly in front of the unit. Additional guest parking is available.
We have an assortment of beach toys, umbrellas, chairs, coolers, some snorkeling equipment.
Enjoy the nearby beaches. Go northward on the on the Ke Ala Hele Makalae path. about ¾ mile to Fuji Beach, there is a natural breakwater that creates a pocket of smoother waters that all levels of swimmers can enjoy. Go south on the on the Ke Ala Hele Makalae path to enjoy Lydgate Beach Kid’s Play Bridge and lava rock enclosed, ocean swimming pool.
Hiking is nearby on two exciting trails for the avid hiker. The two Sleeping Giant Trails include one that runs up to the chest of the giant, and a second trail is for the adventurous few, and runs to the chin, nose and forehead, for amazing, 360-degree views of the eastern part of Kauai.

This was a great stay in Kapaa! The location was perfect for us. The facilites were nice and organized. There was a great amount of appliances to use. Lots of delicious restaurants and coffee shops close by. Only a 4 minute walk to the beach. This was exactly what we were looking for!

Best value in the island
Location is great. Short walk to the beach and 100 yards from the 9 mile beach trail. Laundry room onsite is convenient. Parking in front of unit makes it easy. We were comfortable but summer months may be problematic with the fans and we are from Phoenix use to some heat(DRY).Donna gave us a credit as the construction crew was replacing stairs with no notice. I would stay again.
This was en extremely well provisioned unit. We especially appreciated the blue ice and multiple cooler options to keep drinks and food cold.It was clean, well located, and the host was very responsive. When we had internet disruption we were able to work with the host to quickly resolve the problem.The only recommendation might be to offer s box of Kleenex, a fairly minor issue!
The unit was close to the walking path and to stores and restaurants. The kitchen was stocked with spices and cooking supplies. Everything in the kitchen was clean and functional. There was mold in the shower floor, the room fans did not work and the bedroom air conditioning units did not cool and needed to be drained frequently.
Whole unit needs a deep clean
Very nice, well kept, great location. My only complaint is that the shower curtain liner needs to be replaced. Otherwise, everything was great. Love the area. Lots of restaurants, and easy to get to other parts of the island.
We had a great stay. The communication with Donna was great. We liked the condo very much. There were enough beach chairs and umbrellas. The town of Kapaa is very well located. Thank you very much.
The Vrbo was perfect! It had some beach things for us to borrow. We were in a perfect place to explore all the island easily and a great place to relax and hand out when we got home.

Property is clean and centrally located so only a 90 minute drive to either end of the island which was perfect for us to explore.
We had a wonderful stay and can't wait to return. Donna was super responsive and graciously allowed us an early check-in.
Positive: Nice property. Location was good. Good surroundings. Amenities were good. Negative: Laundry was outside and need to get coins from outside wasting time. Very smelly, felt like due to pet. It's a pet free one, but may be one of the previous tenants violated. The smell made our stay uncomfortable.
Just finished our stay here and the condo was as advertised and had everything we needed. I loved how nice the kitchen was and well stocked with all our cooking needs. Ac units in rooms and living room kept us comfortable. Bathrooms were clean and up to date. We had many great mornings and evenings on the patio and the garden was perfect for my kids to play around. The beach path right in front of condo was great and location next to grocery store and several food locations was perfect. Great stay and would definitely recommend this condo and stay here again. We were a family of four with two younger children and felt safe and comfortable the entire time.
Small hidden away condo property, outside: older looking buildings, inside: the unit had been thoughtfully refurbished and modernized. Decor was tasteful with plenty of closet and drawer space. The half bath was a plus especially for 2 women traveling. Had a great stay, enjoyed inviting friends over for dinner.
Condo was clean and comfortable. One small issue; windows could be sealed better.
The space was compact and lacked some storage, but for the price, it was a fair and practical option for our stay.
Donna’s place is in a wonderful location near the bike path, the beach (not a swimming beach) and shops, had every kitchen supply you would need to cook, including spices and oils. The beds were reasonably comfortable. The eating area was a bit small for 4 but we made it work. We loved this place as a base for our family adventures. Donna responded quickly to every need we had and I would not hesitate to recommend her place for a short or long stay.
Overall our stay was good it's a great location and Donna was easy to get a hold of and easy to talk to.

Great place to stay for the price.
Location was convenient to Kapa'a bike path.Loved eating at the Bull Shed (4 of our 7 nights!) Lots of locals.Patio amenities need a clean-out - big jumble, broken, some need replacement. Out-building laundry was barely acceptable.On our list for repeat locations!
We arrived after 10:00 pm and had difficulty figuring out which unit was ours. The unit numbers were difficulty to see in the dark and there were very few exterior lights. Beach is beautiful but not a swimming beach. Good restaurants in the area.
Loved our stay. The condo was perfect walking distance to stores we love. It was central to all parts of the island. We did rent a car due to the activities planned. Would stay here again. Mahalo

This was a perfect little unit for our vacation. We made a lot of our own meals, and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable. The location was perfect for exploration. It was central to wherever we were heading that day. The host was extremely accommodating to our requests, and even went out of their way to swing by the unit to help us with a few things. I would definitely recommend staying here!

The location is excellent, we were able to watch the sunrise every morning with short walk. The supermarket is cross the street. The house is nice and clean, we couldn't ask for more. The host is so nice, she provide us the information we needed, and the communication is smooth also
We really enjoyed our stay at the apartment. Everything you could think of was there: from snorkels, beach chairs to tupperware boxes. Perfect! The apartment itself was spacious enough for the 3 of us and was located in a great area. Very easy to access all sides of the island. If I’m coming to Kauai again, I will defenitely visit this apartment again. Thank you for the pleasant stay!!
We had a great time there and everything - from check-in instructions to responsiveness of the host while we were there - was just perfect. The location is great to explore the different parts of the island from and it's conveniently close to the airport and Lihue. Stores some grocery stores and places to eat are just around the corner. We also enjoyed the availability of beach equipment and the starter amenities like soap, washing up liquid etc - plus I really appreciated the availability of a knife sharpener since I hate having to prepare food with blunt blades :)

We really enjoyed our time in this area. The property was as described and met our needs well. The portable A/C units struggled to keep the place cool, but it wasn't too uncomfortable and they had nice fans in place to make it easier to sleep. The central location was nice for getting around the island.
We loved everything about this place! It came with everything we needed for a quick stay and I wish we got to enjoy it more while we were there. Donna went above and beyond our expectations from the moment we booked our stay to the moment we arrived, everything she provided was so detailed and really helped us during our stay. We would definitely book this place again the next time we come back to Kaua’i!
Directions and communication were very good. Any issues, concerns or needs needs were met with a rapid and efficient response. Beds were comfortable, accommodations were nicely decorated and the kitchen was well stocked.

After staying in a hotel on Oahu, it was so nice to be able to cook and eat at "home" for a few days. The kitchen was well stocked, when we let Donna know that the keurig was not working, she brought a new one the same day. This location made it easy for us to travel to all areas of the island with little trouble!
This place in Kapa'a was a great location for our first trip to the island. It's central location was great for learning our way to all the parts of the island. It was clean, with comfy beds and a well appointed kitchen. It's small, but was perfect for the three of us to land after a day on the beach or site seeing.
Donna was easy to communicate with and accommodated us checking in 2 hours early which we very much appreciated. Biggest bonus was having access to 4 beach chairs, 2 umbrellas, 4 sets of snorkel gear, 4 beach towels and a cooler for our beach trips, eliminating the need to rent these things. The kitchen is well stocked and looks gorgeous. She also has an area with things like aloe, bug spray and a first aid kit which was great. The sofa flattens into a bed which made it great to separate our two teens for sleeping. Our only complaints were that there is a sewer-type smell emanating from the half bath in the ocean-side bedroom. It smelled like someone had just used the bathroom, all the time. It was mostly contained to the half bath but at times was stronger, emanating into the bedroom. Also - she has created a sliding barn door for that half bath that seems to be too small, making going to the bathroom with someone else in that bedroom not very private. The location though was great - close to the airport and we could easily get to Hanalei / Princeville on the north end of the island and then to Poipu on the south end of the island. This property is right next to the Sheraton so we walked there 2 nights for dinner. There are other restaurants close by, our favorite being Kenji Burger, and a Safeway across the street which was very convenient. All in all we had a great stay here.
This location was perfect for getting to all the activities we wanted to do on Kauai. The property was as advertised and had all the things we needed in the kitchen to have a relaxing, comfortable stay. We also really enjoyed the proximity to the walking/jogging trail that ran along the beach.
The condo is central and conveniently located to go pretty much anywhere on the island. It was clean and well stocked with lots of beach supplies, shampoo, coffee, etc. Although Kapa’a is a busy town, we did not have any issues with noise and the complex seems to be quiet. We enjoyed our stay and will certainly consider staying again.
Close to alot of places to eat. Like that there was everything you needed for the beach a PLUS. Small but comfortable.
Good central location. We did a lot of hiking and beach walking. Loved the closeness to beach walking trail. Good place for the cost. Only thing we missed was a jacuzzi. That would have been wonderful after difficult hikes. Overall a nice place.
Great location and comfy place. Perfect for only 4 people. Loved walking to beach and close restaurants/shopping. We had humorous fan/light issues with remotes that controlled more than one rooms' fans.(Living room and master bdrm) Pretty certain another nearby condo has the same remote too as it would randomly turn on our fan lights or fan. Simple fix for the host by changing code on the fans and remotes. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks for making it a memorable visit to Kauai!

Enjoyed our stay. Clean and comfy. Easy walk to beach and beach at Sheraton beachfront property. They have live music, corn hole and games at Sheraton. Central location to everywhere on the island.
We loved staying here. It was great to find beach towels, coolers, beach chairs, and boogie boards for us to use during our stay. The walking path was a great for sunrise walks. Lots of yummy food within walking distance.
Location is great, unit needs some maintenance but is comfortable and clean.
The location was not very good for using the beach. The rocky shore was not a place for anyone unless very experienced swimmer. Sitting area for eating was too small for a party of 4. Everything else was fine.
This property is exactly as it appears in the photos. My family and I were more than happy staying here and would return again in a heart beat. Thank you so much for sharing your place with us.
