Bring breakfast back to the lanai, head to nearby Hanalei for local food and a browse, or drive to Anini Beach for a calmer-water outing. This is a colorful, comfortable Princeville base for a couple or small family who wants the view to be part of every day, not just the drive there.

The setting looks over the smaller resort pool and out toward Hanalei Bay and Bali Hai. Recent remodeling brings color and island-inspired details to a practical layout for up to four guests.

The Neighborhood:
Hanalei Bay Resort gives you Princeville’s lush North Shore setting above Hanalei Bay. Spend the day on the sand below the resort, then head into Hanalei for shave ice, dinner, and a slow walk through town. Anini Beach is nearby for calmer water, while the Na Pali Coast and waterfall country make a memorable day out. Back at the resort, tropical grounds, two pools, and eight tennis courts make it easy to keep the day close to home.
Getting Around:
A rental car is recommended for exploring Princeville, Hanalei, North Shore beaches, and trailheads at your own pace. Princeville Center offers nearby groceries and dining. Lihue Airport is about 40 minutes away by car. Paid parking is listed at Hanalei Bay Resort.
Other Things to Note:
Condos contain lockouts, meaning there are shared doors and sounds may be audible between connecting doors. Internet provided by Hanalei Bay Resort does not support streaming services such as Netflix or Hulu. This property is managed by Heavenly Vacations. This is a privately owned unit in a resort, so hotel style daily housekeeping is not offered.

This unit at Hanalei Bay Resort is so nice! Double lanai with stunning views of the bay, waterfalls and mountains! The Murphy bed in the living area made it easy for us to stay with 4 people! The unit has a full kitchen and a washer and dryer. We were able to cook several meals using the grills near the pool! They also have available for you a wagon that you can use for taking your things to the beautiful beach as well as pickle ball racquets, boogie boards and several baby things. Thank you to the owners! HBR is a beautiful resort! Note that You do need to pay the 20 per day parking fee and 25 per day resort fee as well as a 50 admin fee. I was a bit disappointed in the communication with vacasa…. HBR knew the unit was clean and ready when we arrived at 1:30 but vacasa did not allow us to check in early. They were also very slow at replying to my messages. The phone number in the listing is not accurate so you are unable to reach them by phone. The HBR manager did approve for us to get into the unit early which was very much appreciated! Thanks HBR for your awesome resort!
We had a great stay. The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Check-in was easy, communication was smooth, and the location worked perfectly for our trip. The only thing we would have loved was the option for early check-in or late check-out. Overall, a very good stay and we would happily come back.
Very nice resort and condo
Best week of my life. This condo is perfectly located on the best part of the island, at a beautiful resort. Beach, pool, mountains, hiking, shopping and amazing food all at your fingertips. Zero regrets or negative experiences the entire week! I wouldn't not want to stay anywhere else.
The property was beautiful and the view was amazing. Everything was 5 stars! If i'm able to ever go back i would book this unit again.
This unit was wonderful! Clean, close to the pools, had everything we needed for our week stay. Murphy bed was foam and very comfortable for our kids. We love Hanalei Bay Resort and this unit did not disappoint!
Room with a nice view. They have a huge balcony facing the mountains as well as the ocean. They do have surf boards, snorkeling masks, beach toys and inflatables. We didn't know that so we bought some along the way only to realize it wasn't needed.
You can’t beat the views of the Napali coast right from the lanai! The property grounds are beautiful. You feel like you are in the middle of the jungle. There is a short walk to the beach. It’s not far but it is steep! They offer golf cart rides if needed. My husband and I were able to do it no problem but if you are older or have many kids I’d opt for the ride. They do have a collapsible wagon to help your lug your stuff down. You can also rent kayaks/surf boards/chairs etc. at the beach. Beach is shared with the beautiful 1 Hanalei Hotel. We enjoyed the restaurant on site - Happy Talk Lounge. They had live Hawaiian music and gorgeous views. There is a pizza restaurant as well, however we didn’t have a chance to try it. The place is well equipped with necessities kitchen, bath, beach. Would definitely recommend this place if you are looking to stay on the north shore!
