The view is awesome from this newly remodeled, spacious studio condo on the 34th Floor of the Hawaiian Monarch, just a few blocks from Waikiki Beach! This clean, modern, luxurious space is in a great location to enjoy your vacation in fabulous Waikiki Beach. In this immaculate studio condo there is AC, Wifi, a nice kitchenette and a breath-taking view of the city and the ocean. A new queen bed, 12 Food Trucks across the street, great location! Not recommended for 3 adults, is a style all its own. There is a huge pool, hot tub and BBQ on the 5th floor, plus a modern fitness room.

Disappointed in kitchen supplies/ Hot plate could be upgraded, only 1 drinking glass, very limited and poor cutlery
Overall review: Low frills, but works great and good value as a stay for exploring Oahu.Larry was always quick in communication. Location was small, but worked fine for the two of us. Place showed a little age, but was clean and everything worked. Coffee shop in the lobby was nice. Cheap car rental place in the building, but doesn't come with parking (which, as it is Waikiki, is expensive) and you have to return the car several blocks away (there is a second, more expensive car rental place in the building also; don't know their policies). We used it, and it saved a lot form renting a car form the airport for the entire stay and parking on the street wasn't too bad. Food trucks across the street are okay. Usually no wait for the elevator, and the few times there was it was short. AC blowing across the bed was a little bit of a challenge, but we found a workaround, and the AC was definitely nice to have. We ended up never using the pool/hot tub, so can't comment on those. If you are looking for a spot to sit and relax during a vacation, this is probably not it, as it's not really built as a hang-out. It is not right next to, but close (10-20 minute walk) to things in Waikiki, and as a place to stay for people who want to go around the city and the island, it works well. For the value, I'm really happy with the stay and would stay here again.
