If you’re looking for a place that is spotless, literally steps from the ocean, has super‑comfortable beds, and comes stocked with every amenity you could possibly need (and then some)… this is your place.The location is perfect — right between the North Shore and the South/West side of the island, close to the airport, rental shops, and great restaurants. The owner is incredibly kind, responsive, and easy to reach.If this condo is available, grab it immediately. Don’t do what I did and spend an embarrassing number of hours searching for something “better.” Trust me — you’re not going to find it. You will absolutely love this place.

Wow! How lucky were we to find this awesome house right on the beach with comfortable room for all five of us! It was perfect for our five days and four nights exploring the area, shopping, snorkeling, and dining as well as comfortably hanging out "at home". Falling asleep to the sound of the ocean every night was icingbon the cake.The kitchen was super well stocked. Really, the whole place in general was super well stocked...from beach towels, beach chairs, a cooler, beach blankets, and lotions, sunscreen, spices, some foods etc.! The location was super convenient for walking, driving, biking or running. Everything we could want or need was a few minutes away. And a drive to Poipu or Princeville was convenient as well. The beach felt private (we only saw 1 person in four days) and we enjoyed it immensely! The home was also very private and quiet.Our questions were quickly addressed by our helpful host, Ron. A perfect place for all of us. We loved it! We would absolutely love to stay there again!

Wonderful location right on the water! We spent time on the beach out back every morning watching the sunrise. Even though it's too rocky to be swimmable, we really enjoyed having the water right in our backyard. We even had a small seal hang out on the beach with us one afternoon! The house is the perfect size for a small family. I really liked that one bathroom had a tub and one had a walk-in shower so it accommodates people who may need one or the other. I also liked that the shower heads detach which makes it so much easier to wash children's hair or simply rinse off your feet. The kitchen was fully stocked and I really appreciated that they had things like bag clips and ziploc bags for us to use. Just those small touches made such a big difference. We were also pleased to find a lighter in the drawer when we needed it for my daughter's birthday candles. The master bedroom bed was really comfortable too (more of a firm mattress, which is what we prefer). If we are lucky enough to be able to visit Kauai again then we would definitely rebook this house! Mahalo!

Our stay at this property was unforgettable. The house is just a small lawn and a hedge away from the ocean, affording us with multiple beautiful sunrises and the sound of crashing waves at night.Due to the time of year, the surf was a bit rough for swimming, and the sand came and went with the storms, but the tide pools and early morning crabs were great.The host was very responsive to our questions, and the property manager quickly resolved a minor issue that came up (Mahalo!). We only used one of the four bedrooms, but the bed we slept in was quite comfortable. The kitchen is nicely remodeled, well equipped, and had the best coffee we have encountered at a rental property. The A/C throughout the house was fantastic at controlling both the temperature and the humidity.The location is quite convenient, with restaurants and shops within walking distance (and even more within a short drive), and roughly centered between both the north and south shores. We saw people in many of the surrounding houses, but the neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful.

Booked property for a family gathering of 5 adults and 2 children -and it was perfect. The clean property had all the extras you could think of- plus! The kitchen was supplied with everything down to bags of ice for the ice chest, including separate refrigerator for beverages. All that was needed was the chow to throw on the bbq outside! The ocean waves and sand were right out the back door, and the property is ideally situated for local shopping and restaurants, and midway on the island for easy day trips in either direction.The living space was comfortable for relaxing and was well supplied with games, large tv and plenty of charging options for electronics.And most importantly, the communication with the host was top notch.We hope to return in the near future!

We had a great stay. The hosts were very welcoming, everything was in perfect order. Very clean beautiful house, large dining table, great kitchen. Wonderful view, right on the ocean. Within walking distance of anything you might need and many restaurants. Very convenient location. We will definitely stay again on our next visit to Kauai. Mahalo

Rob was a great host! We had some issues with the battery on the door lock, and he had someone come out to change the batteries right away. The house was very comfortable with lots of amenities and the location could not have been better! It’s right on the beach in a nice, quiet neighborhood. It was amazing to fall asleep and wake up to the sound of the ocean! Mahalo, Rob! We’ll be back!!

We had an absolutely incredible stay at this beautiful oceanfront home in Kapaa over Christmas. Our group included my husband and me, our three teenage kids, and both of our moms, and the house was the perfect fit for all of us. With four bedrooms and plenty of space, everyone was comfortable and able to truly relax.The location is unbeatable—literally steps from the ocean, with a quiet beach right outside the back doors. Waking up to the sound of the waves and watching the ocean throughout the day was unforgettable. The home was fully stocked with everything we needed for the week, making it feel like a true home away from home.The host’s communication was excellent from start to finish—clear, timely, and very helpful—which made the entire experience seamless and stress-free. We especially appreciated the central A/C (a huge bonus in Kauai), the privacy of the secluded neighborhood, and how close we were to town. Being within walking distance to shops, dining, and the Kapaa bike/walking path was so convenient. The location was also ideal for exploring the island—perfectly situated between the north and south shores, making day trips easy in every direction.This home truly exceeded our expectations, and it was the perfect setting for making lasting family memories. We would absolutely love to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a stunning, well-located oceanfront property in Kauai.

Private beach comfortable beds and great air conditioning and great communication

Perfect house, very clean, comfortable beds, plenty of couches, chairs and a large dining room table, good air conditioning and all the amenities in the kitchen and bathrooms and more! We had 5 adults and 1 toddler. The house was very close to grocery stores, restaurants and shopping, easily walkable. We stayed 7 nights and had a wonderful vacation. Sherry EdonOklahoma City, OK

Great stay

The beach house was just as advertised in the listing. It was perfect size for the eight of us to be quite comfortable for our entire stay. I loved the house as a central location for all our excursions. Everything was close by. I'd recommend this place to anyone visiting Kauai for a fun vacation.

Home was beautifully located right on the beach where we sat each morning and night in the comfy chairs. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed for breakfast and lunch prep. The house was perfect for our group and I wouldn't change a thing. 7 days was not long enough.

We absolutely loved staying in this house! It is exactly how it is pictured in the listing. Lots of hot water, comfortable beds, boogie boards, and snorkeling equipment. The location is great. It in the between the north and south. The little beach is so fun to explore. Lots of little crabs. We walked to eat many evenings. I was so sad to leave. We can't wait to come back.

Such a beautiful vibe at this well planned and well kept home! Our two daughters, their spouses, and two grandsons age 9 & 12 enjoyed a great stay with us. Careful thought was evident in every area of family life, from dining to sleeping to beach gear. Walked everywhere on the beautiful path, enjoyed the comfy beach views, moments away from groceries and shops. Comfortable for us in our seventies, gangs of fun for the preteens. Took snorkel classes the first day and swam with big turtles and beautiful fish. Went to the Smith Family Luau and feasted on their delicious fare plus special plates they made for our food allergy and vegans. Enjoyed the incredibly delicious gluten free treats at Haole Girl. I do not enjoy hotels and this was the perfect alternative.

The spot under the tree in the backyard was the best reading spot in the house. Waking up in the morning to the sunrise from bed was exquisite.I haven’t slept so well in a long time. Stores are within walking distance which made eating in super convenient.

Perfect! We come to Hawaii every January. This will be the place we want to stay when we come to Kauai!

This house had everything we needed, including a cooler, beach chairs, and beach towels. It was amazing to walk out onto the beach in the mornings while the others still slept. And the bike path runs right in front of the property, so I took in the sunrise views while getting my steps in. AMAZING property!!!!!!!

The location of this property was amazing. It made our trip great. We were close to a lot of food choices. Rob provided all the things you need while on vacation! Nice beds, clean place, beautiful kitchen and everything you need. Very great host!

Great stay in Kapa'a in Kauai! Plenty of room for all 7 of us enjoying a family vacation. We could step out the back door to the beach and hear the waves all night. Lots of masks, snorkels, fins, and other water toys to borrow. The beach is rocky but we enjoyed the water and walking to nearby beaches. Location was close to the airport and easy drive to north and south island destinations. Shopping for anything we needed was close enough to walk to from our quiet street. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking for our crew; coffee pots, slow cooker, microwave, gas oven and stove, we used them all! The owner was quick to respond with any requests and made sure we were taken care of. Thanks for a great vacation!

The property is right on the ocean! The property is as decribed in the listing. Kaapa is central to the north and south parts of thr island so is quite convenient. Costco 15-20 min drive. Safeway is walking distance. Loved the hikes, kayaking, boating, and snorkeling! Rob was exceptionally responsive to all questions and needs. We have stayed in several VRBOs and he has been the best host we have had. If you want to come to Kauai, this is an excellent choice! And if you need A/C there is not other place!

House was beautiful, great location great host

This house is perfectly located midway up the East side making trips up to Wiamai Canyon or down to Poi’pu Beach very easy and quick. The house is wonderfully furnished and stocked with all necessities. Beds are very comfortable and the split zone AC’s kept everyone very comfortable. Another great thing was that for 6 warm shower loving people, no one ever ran out of hot water!! Owner Rob was very prompt and thorough in all of our communications!! I will stay here again one day. A great home and location!!

It was just what we needed for the 8 of us. Loved having the ocean right beyond the backyard. Great backyard with chairs and tables to sit and relax in. The house was clean, beds were comfy, and we loved having a washer and dryer.

We enjoyed our stay at this private beachfront house. The house is fully equipped with all the necessities. Drinking morning coffee while watching the sunrise over the ocean was a great way to start the day. A sandy beach and ocean is just a few steps from the backyard deck. We enjoyed riding bikes and walking along the trail that runs in front of the house and along the ocean. We enjoyed walking to town for shopping and sampling food from the food trucks -all delicious. The host was quick to respond to the few questions we had. We would definitely return to this ocean retreat!

Property manager emailed before our trip. Given our evening arrival, he advised us to get dinner in Lihue as most restaurants would be closed in Kapa'a. The location was very convenient for walking to shopping, restaurants, bike rental, and beautiful walks along the Kapa'a beach. House keeping was very responsive. Clean, appliances were in good working order, We would consider again!
