Ali'i Kai 10A is a perfect blend of modern luxury and island charm located in the heart of all Kauai's North Shore has to offer! This beautifully updated, super inviting ground floor unit has two comfortable bedrooms with private ensuite bathrooms, and an open concept living/dining/kitchen area that gets great natural light. There's also a large private lanai where you can spot some local wildlife and take in the lush mountain views and savor a glimpse of the ocean while relaxing with a glass of wine or cup of coffee in the comfy rocking chairs. The wild chickens and nene love the yard too, so you'll have some free entertainment watching them parade around!
If you can drag yourself away from your island retreat, you'll find yourself in the perfect jumping off point for exploring the island at Ali'i Kai 10A. Anini Beach is just 15 minutes away, and has crystal clear waters that offer some of the best snorkeling on the island! You might also catch a glimpse of a Hawaiian green sea turtle while you're there. Hanalei Bay is also just 10 minutes away, and has beautiful golden sand beaches with calm waters perfect for all ages of swimmers. The charming Hanalei town is right nearby, and has a variety of boutiques and delicious restaurants/cafes for all your shopping and dining needs. Hideaways Beach is just a mile away from Alii Kai, and if you're able to brave the steep path you'll be rewarded with a secluded and shady beach experience that feels like your own slice of paradise. The snorkeling isn't half bad either, and it makes a great setting for a picnic lunch! If you want a break from the crowds, we recommend heading to Kilauea, just 20 minutes down the road, to check out the iconic lighthouse and wildlife preserve. Or, if you prefer sticking a bit closer to home, the Princeville shopping center is just a mile away, and has plenty of options for shopping and grabbing tasty bites, as well as the Foodland grocery store for even more convenience! The nationally ranked Makai golf course is also just a 10 minute walk away from your front door, and has some of the best golfing in the country.
Of course, for travelers who prefer to do less and relax more, the Ali'i Kai complex is perfectly situated for a staycation. The complex has a large heated pool, jacuzzi, and shallow wading pool that's great for children, as well as plenty of sun loungers and shaded clubhouse seating. There are also gas grills on site if you want to spend the day barbecuing and enjoying the lovely weather, or you can take a stroll around the beautifully landscaped grounds. situated right on the rocky bluffs, and enjoy some stellar ocean views! With the Princeville Shopping Center so close by, you'll hardly even need to leave to pick up all your essentials, or some delicious takeout.
If you're looking to explore other parts of the island, be sure to plan accordingly. Drive time to the South Shore is roughly 75 minutes, and to the East Side (where the airport is located) is 55 minutes.
As with most homes on Kauai, this vacation rental is NOT air conditioned, however there are fans in every room and screen doors on the lanai to help with airflow.
This is a ground-floor unit with no stairs, and is suitable for people with mobility issues and young children.

My only complaint is the noise upstairs. There is no sound Barrier on the ceiling after contacting management about the 8 people above me somehow they managed to get the upstairs guest to tone it down. The unit with the view was spectacular
We had a wonderful time and the host communicated all instructions very well
This is a really nice unit in Princeville. Having 2 bedrooms was a big plus. The kitchens and bathrooms are nice as is the laundry facilities. It is strange to hear water running from above the unit when the occupants above are showering, etc. We kept thinking something was left running but it was the other units.

Being on the ground floor was a huge plus — we had direct access to the garden, and our child was so happy watching the geese and roosters that often came by. The apartment itself is beautiful, with fresh renovations and everything very comfortable.At first, we were a bit worried about the lack of air conditioning, but the ceiling fans and the extra portable fan worked perfectly and kept us comfortable. The balcony was amazing — we had breakfast there every morning and it was the perfect spot to relax.The kitchen was very well equipped — there were plenty of dishes, utensils, and everything we needed to cook comfortably. It really had everything we could ask for.Overall, the place gave us so much peace and relaxation. We absolutely loved our stay and would be happy to return again!
It could use air conditioner units in the bedrooms. It gets very hot at night, the loud roosters outside crow at all hours, requiring to close the windows.
Really enjoyed this property. Well kept and very clean. Also very quiet and peaceful. As noted, it does not have AC and can get a bit muggy, but you can get a nice breeze with the doors and windows open. We would stay here again!

Great location on North Shore, comfortable and well setup condo, everything we needed in kitchen
We had a great stay and loved being on the north shore! The condo was super clean and nicely maintained. It was very comfortable and met our needs. We liked being on the ground floor with chickens and nene walking by. There is a grocery store nearby (5 min drive) and a few restaurants with walkup windows and common eating area that often had live music. There are a couple food trucks within a short walk but we found their hours not very convenient. The pool is just around the corner from this unit which is nice. The stay was completely comfortable and no complaints - but also nothing super special or remarkable about the condo so giving 4 stars.
Fantastic accommodations! Love the layout of two bedroom two bath suites. Very clean and well supplied. Location is near the cliffs with amazing views, and also walking distance to some delicious food carts. Extra amenities, such as beach chairs, cooler very nice! All around we definitely would come back and recommend to others!
