Kula Lodge Restaurant, Maui
The Kula Lodge is situated high above the hills of Kula and it is an excellent stop-off point on the way to or from Hana, Mt Haleakala or the Ulupalakua Winery. From the other direction, Kula Lodge acts as a gateway to Upcountry Maui, an area full of beautiful scenery. The restaurant offers a special outdoor seating area with amazing views looking out over West Maui. Home to Kula's only full-service bar, the Kula Lodge is the ideal place to stop off for a rest or to meet and relax with friends.
For those who have been trekking to or back from Mt Haleakala and are in need of sustenance, the Kula Lodge Restaurant offers a fairly comprehensive menu to sate any levels of hunger or thirst. From as early as 7.00am, the breakfast menu offers a selection of lighter and full-on morning meals such as Benedicts and Pancakes or Paniolo Steak and Eggs and even a breakfast known as The Haleakala Mountain of a Meal. There is, of course, a plentiful supply of steaming coffee to accompany every choice of breakfast. Options on the lunch menu include Appetizers, Soups, Quiches, Quesadillas, Burgers, Sandwiches, Seafood, Pasta and Salads. The dinner menu also offers appetizers, soups, pasta and a wider selection of entrées. Alternatively, with a wood-burning pizza oven located in the garden terrace, guests can select their favorite combinations from the pizza menu.
With excellent views over the entire western side of Maui from the outdoor seating area, the Kula Lodge restaurant can accommodate up to 150 guests. It is open seven days a week - from Monday through to Sunday. Breakfast is served from 7.00am to 10.45am, lunch from 11.00am to 4.00pm, and dinner from 4.00pm until 8.30pm. The pizza menu is available from 11.00am until 8.00pm.
