Waimanalo Beach

RE: Waimanalo Beach
Ouch! There is only one beach on Maui that I snorkel at having this kind of bottom to negotiate. The fish are some of the best to swim with there so find my way around the rocks. This wouldn't be much fun for the little folks, even when the tide is higher.

Sounds like a good snorkeling beach. Which one is it?

RE: Waimanalo Beach
Are you talking about Sugar Beach? I went snorkeling at Makena State Beach Park and it was great. Didn't have to pay a tour company for this experience. I'm way overdue for a trip to Maui. I always stay in Kihei when I stay in Maui. I like it so much better than Lahiana. I do like Whaler's Village in Kaanapali, that is a very nice area.
