Koko Head trail
Koko Head is a scenic landmark on Oahu's south shore. What looks like a mountain is in fact an old tuff cone. A trail leads all the way to the top. If you're looking for a great workout, this is it. The trail is unlike any other on the island. You'll climb over 1,000 railroad ties, which were originally built over 60 years ago to get supplies to the military bunkers at the top. About halfway is a somewhat dicey stretch (known as the bridge). After looking at the "bridge" photos it's easy to see why some people get scared here and may want to turn around. The views along the entire trail are awesome. Read more about Koko Head here: https://www.to-hawaii.com/oahu/attractio...crater.php
