Overview
Learn to SUP stand-up paddle board on Maui. The gentle ocean and friendly surf coaches will have you standing up and paddling in no time. Our experienced surf coaches, perfect conditions, and a private lesson will have you up and paddling in no time. The private lesson is a great course for one-on-one attention. This class is great for someone who has experience in paddling or someone who is a total beginner and wants total attention from their paddle coach.
PLEASE BE PREPARED: Please arrive well rested, and be sure to hydrate and drink plenty of water before your session.
Itinerary
CHECK-IN at Kalama Beach Park at our Surf Club Maui van, we will outfit you with reef shoes and a rash guard surf shirt.
We start with a lesson in the park to go over the safety and theory of SUP Standup Paddle Boarding.
We will teach you the skills your need to have fun and ride the boards.
Our experienced coaches are on the water with you, guiding your tour.
The water is warm, and the boards are stable and easy to ride.
Please arrive well rested and hydrated, *Drink plenty of water before your session.
THIS GROUP SURF CLASS IS FOR MIXED AGES 11 AND UP.
If you have younger kids you must book a Private lesson, or a Semi-private family class.
If you arrive with a child under 11 years old the lesson will be canceled and no refunds will be given.
Thank you for your understanding. *NOTE: All students must be able to swim in the ocean, if you show up for the class and can not swim or are not comfortable in deep water, the lesson will be canceled and no-refunds will be given. **WAIVER: We will send you a link to the Online Waiver form, please sign this before your lesson. ***Please bring some cash for a Gratuity (tip) for your instructor.
