Overview
The Haleakala Day Journey has been one of the most popular bike tours offered at Maui Mountain Riders for over 30 years. The tour begins at the entrance of Haleakala National Park and ends where the bike ride concludes in Paia Town, on the North Shore of the island! Our tours are conducted by our experienced guides, who will point out historic sites along the journey and offer unforgettable photo ops for your group.
Check-in - 7:30am at the Maui Mountain Riders office location
Return - 11:30-12:00pm back to the Maui Mountain Riders office location (times will vary depending upon the season).

On the slopes of Haleakala Ranch at 6500 feet your exhilarating bike tour will begin through the 29 switchbacks. Beautiful bi-coastal views can be seen as you ride down twice. (90 mins)
We have a stop in the historic cowboy or Paniole town of makawao on the slopes of Haleakala (45 mins)

Departure Point: Guests will need to arrange their own transportation to meet at our Office at Mountain Riders 497 Baldwin Ave, Paia, HI 96779, USA Return point: Returns to original departure point between 10am and 11am (times vary depending on the season)

Participants are required to sign an acknowledgment of risk. Hotel pickups commence prior to this time
