Volcanoes eruptions will amaze you with it's size and active volcanic eruptions. The lava flow area includes 323,431 acres of land. Over half of the park is designated the Hawaii Volcanoes Wilderness area. The park encompasses diverse environments that range from sea level to the summit of the Earth's most massive active volcano.
Itinerary
On a normal sunny day you will see rainbows hover over the waterfall. (30 mins)
Rows of Banyan trees planted by famous people we know. Banyan trees planted by Babe Ruth and President Nixon are examples.
The biggest Japanese styled gardens outside of Tokyo. (20 mins)
Unique blacksand beach in Hilo area. Sometimes you will see the turtles swimming in in the water. (30 mins)
Original statue of Kamehameha the Great. (20 mins)
Visit the most recent volcano eruption. Experience the heat rising from ground where the latest lava had covered the whole area. (60 mins)
Sample the taste of the Macadamia Nut and locally grown coffee. People from the world came here to buy the cookies made from locally grown nuts. (30 mins)
