This late night manta snorkel takes you aboard a spacious 50-foot catamaran to witness Kona's sparkling shoreline before diving into an unforgettable night with manta rays. Certified guides provide instruction, snorkel gear, wetsuits, and noodles, ensuring a safe and magical experience as you swim alongside these gentle giants. After your adventure, warm up with complimentary hot cocoa, tea, and soft drinks, or purchase cocktails from the onboard bar. A blend of ocean wonder and late-night Kona views, this tour is truly a once-in-a-lifetime Big Island experience.
Watch the beautiful lights of Kona from our spacious 50’ catamaran, followed by the adventure of a lifetime - snorkeling with the majestic manta rays at night! Upon arriving, receive an in-depth explanation of one of the most mysterious creatures in the ocean. Join your professional/certified guides in the water as you snorkel with the majestic hahalua (manta rays). Snorkel equipment, instruction, wetsuits and swim noodles are provided. Complimentary water, juice, soft drinks and hot cocoa included.
Guests may purchase beer, wine and cocktails from our full bar.
Itinerary
We start the evening by heading down the Kona coast on our 50' catamaran to Manta Ray Village.
Once we arrive at the sight, receive a complete safety briefing before jumping into the ocean to snorkel with the manta rays.
Afterwards, join us back on the boat for hot cocoa and hot tea as we take in the night lights of Kona town on our boat ride back to Kailua town.

Do not check in at the boat as you will be redirected to check-in at the office.
We are located at the Courtyard Marriott adjacent to the pool.

Guests should bring a towel and a long sleeve shirt/light jacket is also recommended for the boat ride home. - Not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries

- Travelers should have a high level of physical fitness
- Any tour participants that are getting in the water MUST KNOW HOW TO SWIM without the assistance of a flotation device
- Children must be accompanied by an adult
- Minimum drinking age is 21 years
- A minimum of 2 people per booking is required
- If guest is not a competent swimmer (as determined by the Captain and/or crew), they will be directed to immediately return to the vessel. In such instances the guest will NOT be refunded
- Children under the age of 5 are NOT allowed in the water and must be accompanied by an adult at all times on the boat
- Guests are asked to check-in at our retail outlet 30 MINUTES PRIOR to your scheduled departure time. We are located in the Courtyard Marriott King Kamehameha Beach Kona Hotel. Our address is 75-5660 Palani Road, Suite C8, Kailua-Kona, HI 96740
- We offer discounted self parking at the Courtyard Marriott King Kamehameha Hotel. Parking charge is $13 for up to 5.5 hours. Please remember to bring your parking ticket with you to check-in.
- PLEASE NOTE that full-face snorkel masks are NOT allowed to be used by guests
- Not recommended for travelers that are not strong swimmers or that do not know how to snorkel
- Not recommended for travelers that are prone to seasickness / motion sickness
- Guests weighing more than 300 lb (136 kg) are NOT allowed in the water as our water entry / exit staircase has a specific weight limit
- Not recommended for travelers with a history of panic attacks
