Welcome to the Southern most area of the United States! Our tour will take you to places that tourists and locals alike have never visited. This is the REAL untouched Hawaii. The Southpoint area is where the Hawaiians originally landed on the Big Island. Its beautiful, warm, sunny and sometimes windy. You'll be crossing rugged lava flows and grassy fields,
Ancient Kiawe forests with all the natural fauna and flora of The Big Island. Gorgeous aqua coastline with crashing waves worthy of photos, especially when the surfs up! If on a winter tour you might even see a whale or two. You will experience colorful tropical fish and green sea turtles visible from rugged lava cliffs as you peer into Shark Bay. We also do private family tours so book ahead so we have spaces available for you and your family. Get a little SUN and have a little FUN! Lets GO!

Itinerary
We take you on a rugged, fun trail to a Hawaiian lava tube.
The trail can be very bumpy at times and dusty.
If you are prone to sunburns, we suggest you wear long sleeves or even pants to keep from burning as we are out in the sun 2.5 hours out of 3.
We give you some history on it and the surrounding area.
We generally spend about 15 minutes there.
Then we head off down the trail on a fun 4WD lava flow to a scenic look out point.
Where we give you more history and great photo ops. we spend about 15 minutes there, Then we drive down through an ancient Kiawe forest on a dirt trail, then through a huge lave flow to Paakea Bay where we will spend about 20-30 minutes under the shade tree to eat our lunch/snacks.
Then its off to Ka'alualu Bay to see some green sand.
We generally spend about 10 minutes there.
Also a great photo spot.
Then we take you on a cliff drive along the ocean to Pulehua Island where we will hike out onto a peninsula to see green sea turtles and tropical fish.

And we may possible see Mr.
Blue, our resident Parrot fish.
We spend approx.
15 minutes there.
Then its back up the trail for the ride back.

What's Included
Inclusions
- Top of the line single or double ATVs, Helmets, gloves, goggles, dust masks
Exclusions
- Bring your own water containers as we do not use plastic bottles on the trail. We refill them on the trail with ice water cooler. Bring a lunch/snacks as we take a 15-20 minute break.
Meeting & Logistics
Go to the end of Ka'alualu Rd. where the pavement ends keep going for aprox 300 feet.
First gray gate on the left. address is 94-1400.
Go thru the gate follow gravel driveway to the end.
Be there at 11:30.
NO public restrooms.
Stop at the Punaluu bakery for restrooms before arrival. :Closed shoes .
