Prince Waikiki, Oahu
The Prince Waikiki has many oceanfront rooms and luxury suits. Some 521 rooms overlook the ocean and if you pay that little bit more and are on the eleventh floor or upwards the view is particularly grand. Below the fifth floor the view is slightly obscured by the marina. When it comes to the hotel's location, the walk from here into the main area of Waikiki takes a little longer (about 20 minutes). However, the hotel runs a shuttle bus service.
One of the major plus points of the Hawaii Prince is the size of its rooms. At around 400 square feet they are some of the largest in the area. Equally spacious, the bathrooms have separate tubs and an enclosed toilet area.
For business travelers there are dedicated rooms with built-in business amenities, not to mention the separate business center within the hotel. There is also 20,000 square feet of function or meeting space for those wishing to bring conferences or functions to the Hawaii Prince.
A pool is located on the premises, as well as a rather small fitness area. However, the priority for many guests here is the Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay designed golf course belonging to the hotel (located off the premises and accessible via a shuttle).
There are five restaurants/cafés at the hotel. The main restaurant is situated on the 5th floor and features large windows overlooking the marina.
