The Ambassador Hotel, located at the western end of Waikiki, has a variety of rooms available, from affordable studios to more luxurious two- or three-bedroom penthouse suites. In total the hotel has 301 rooms, most with their own private kitchens or kitchenettes.
The one-bedroom suites which sleep up to four people, are a particularly good value. They are spacious with simple, modern décor and ocean views. The studios are a little more pushed for space; however, they are newly remodeled. The penthouse suites offer superior, chic interior design, with views of both the ocean and Ko'olau Mountains.
In general this is a hotel short on luxuries and added extras. However, there is a small pool with space for lounging. The Ambassador is within walking distance of Waikiki Beach and Waikiki's attractions. The hotel doesn't have an on-site restaurant. The hotel is a good choice for travelers on a budget.
