D.T. Fleming Beach Park at a Glance
This is a popular beach park, located in Honokahua Bay on
Maui’s northwestern coast. D.T. Fleming Beach Park offers
plenty of space among lush surroundings. All the modern
amenities to spend a perfect day on the beach are available
– BBQ grills, picnic tables, showers, restrooms and phones.
Tall ironwood and palm tress provide plenty of shade.
D.T. Fleming Beach Park is situated on low land dunes. It
has a long and wide white sand beach. Swimming, snorkeling,
bodyboarding and surfing are all possible here. Lifeguards
are stationed on the beach. But have in mind that the beach
has a steep slope, which may cause a backwash when the surf
is up and cause trouble, especially for novice swimmers.
