Blue Ginger Café, Lanai
The Blue Ginger Café is a local favorite on Lanai and an inexpensive alternative to the island’s upscale hotel restaurants. It’s a small eatery with just a handful of tables on the front porch, which face some tall Norfolk pine trees and Dole Park, right in the heart of Lanai City.
On the menu are everyday local favorites, such as fried saimin, hamburgers on home-made buns and mahi mahi with capers and mushrooms. For breakfast they have eggs with meat, bayshrimp or vegetable omelets, banana or blueberry pancakes or French toast. For lunch they have plate lunches, sandwiches and French fries. And for dinner you can choose between stir fries, fish, shrimp and saimin dishes and other nightly specials.
