Keoki's Paradise at a Glance
True
to its name, restaurant/bar Keoki Paradise affords
diners a jungle-like, Edenic ambiance. Keoki’s Paradise
is structured like dockside boathouse. Tiki torches
illuminate the place, while surf boards and vintage
Hawaiian posters adorn the koa-paneled walls. In the
middle of the restaurant is a cascading waterfall, and
water from the fall streams outside to a lagoon
surrounded by tropical vegetation foliage. Open walls
allow the lagoon and the surroundings to become part of
the restaurant’s atmosphere.
Next to the landscaped lagoon are thatched roofs. Under
these roofs is the Bamboo Bar. This is one of the best
places to hang out and enjoy tropical cocktails. There’s
live entertainment of Hawaiian tunes from Sunday through
Friday. All dishes here are moderately priced.
The place complements the menu that focuses primarily on
Hawaiian cuisine. Lunch includes two scooped rice, koloa
pork ribs, fish, stir-fried vegetables, burger, salad,
and sandwiches. Dinner choices include prime teriyaki
steak, filet mignon, cold water lobster tail, and sea
food linguini. Fresh fish is available in five
preparations: baked in garlic, lemon, and sweet basil
glaze; baked in ginger, orange zest, and macadamia nuts;
sautéed with macadamia nuts, lemon, and caper butter
sauce; grilled with citrus, shoyu, and sesame butter
sauce; and lightly marinated and served with lime
vinaigrette. As trademark of TS Properties restaurants,
dessert at Keoki’s Paradise is the mouth watering Kimo’s
Original Hula Pie.
Keoki’s Paradise is also one of the best places to bring
your kids. Other than its interesting architecture and
tropical ambiance, there’s plenty of delicious meals
prepared especially for keikis such as their keiki
burgers, keiki pesto shrimp, and chicken tenders.
The bar closes at 12. After diners clear out 9, singles
comprise the bar scene here. Keoki’s Paradise has been
serving dishes since 1986. The restaurant stands on the
sands of Poipu Beach.Keoki's
