Poipu Beach Broiler is an open-air casual tropical grill
sitting on Kauai’s South Shore. The restaurant’s walls
are covered with surfboards, surf photos, and surf
memorablia (including that of surfing hero Duke
Kahanamoku’s), giving diners that tropical, old beach
house feel. Friendly staff welcomes you in the Aloha
spirit and serves food that complements the restaurant’s
casual and fun interior.
Poipu Beach Broiler boasts the largest seafood
collection in Kauai, serving as many as 10 fish
specialties each night. Every fish served at Poipu Beach
Broiler is guaranteed to be freshly fished from the
waters of Kauai and Hukilau.
Aside from fish, Poipu Beach Broiler serves
Bouillabaisse, paella, and grilled seafood and steaks
For lunch, Chef Patricia Wong and her kitchen team
creates dishes like blue crab cakes with red pepper
mousse, baby back ribs served with pineapple glaze,
Poipu Beach Teriyaki Burger, Fish Sandwich, and Pakala
Salad. Dinner could be ribs, sirloin, King crab legs,
crab ravioli, and New York steak. There’s a wide variety
of pupus such as seared ahi sashimi and vegetable summer
rolls. A separate menu specially created for keikis aged
10 and below is available. Sample keiki dishes are
grilled cheese sandwich, cheese ravioli, and chicken
nuggets.
Watch out for their monthly specials like their Taco
Tuesday promotion. This promotion, for instance, offers
a variety of Mexican dishes (including their well-loved
fresh fish tacos) every Tuesday of the week.
Poipu Beach Broiler is a member of the Poipu Beach
Resort Association. It is located on the sands of Poipu
Beach where the former House of Seafood used to stand.
