31st Annual Prince Lot Hula Festival

Visit the 31st hula festival taking place at Moanalua Gardens, a 23-acre park that was once home to Hawaii’s royalty. This is the largest, non-competitive hula festival in Hawaii. It features hula dances on an authentic hula mound, Hawaiian arts and crafts demonstrations, exhibits and more. Admission is free. For more information, visit www.mgf-hawaii.org.

Hawaii All-Collectors Show

This is the largest annual collectibles and antiques show and sale in Hawaii featuring 180 booths and vendors from Oahu, neighbor islands, the continental U.S. and Japan. You’ll find a variety of articles for sale, including aloha shirts, beads, art, stamps, jewelry, rattan and koa furniture, textiles, ukulele and much more. Call 941-9754 for more information.

Tinman Marathon

This is a 750 m swim starting at the Queen’s Beach Groin and heading towards the Waikiki Aquarium and back, followed by a 40-km bike ride starting at Kapiolani Park towards Hawaii Kai Dr. and back to Waikiki, followed by a 10-km run from Kalakaua Ave. to Kahala and back. 11th Annual Haleiwa Arts Festival

This is one of Hawaii’s prime fine arts and crafts festivals. It features over 130 artists from Oahu, the neighbor islands, the continental U.S. and some international locations. There will be singers, dancers and storytellers showcasing their art. Art activities for children and cultural trolley tours are also offered. Admission, all activities and parking are all free.
