Maui Schools
Hello
I am new to this forum but so glad to have found it! I am wondering if anyone knows about the schools on Maui and which I may want to steer clear of and which I might want to try to be near. My kids are from elementary to high school aged, so any and all info you may have on schools, public and private would be very appreciated! I hope I am not being offensive here, I have just read in different places that some of the schools on Maui are not quite up to par and it's best to try to aim for other ones, but no one seems to mention which are the better ones... anyone here in the know on this topic?

RE: Maui Schools
Welcome to our forum Beccarose. I'm not familiar with schools on Maui, so I can't say anything based on personal experience. Maybe you could take a look at the State of Hawaii Department of Education's "school list" where you can find out more about things like standardized test scores, performance monitoring reports, etc.
http://www.psk12.com/rating/USindexphp/STATE_HI.html http://165.248.6.166/data/schoollist.asp Here is some more info that might be useful: http://www.mauinews.com/page/content.det...marks.html http://www.honolulumagazine.com/Honolulu...ng-Public/ http://www.honolulumagazine.com/Honolulu...-Database/ I hope this info helps! Good luck in finding the perfect school. |
