Address: 1450 Ala Moana Blvd # 3247 Honolulu, HI 96814 View Map There is a happy hour daily between 4pm to 7pm and from 8pm to 10 pm. Local bands play live music as well. Most of the music is modern pop music with some Hawaiian flare. Unfortunately you will hardly even hear authentic Hawaiian music. The music is more mainland style so to say. The drinks and food are pretty good. I like best the cocktail called ‘Sunset’. If you go in their Happy Hour you can get it for 4 bucks only. The best time to go is during the week... [Read more]
Address: 2003 Kalia Rd Honolulu, HI 96815 View Map The Tapa Bar at the Hilton Hawaiian Village in Waikiki is a great place to chill out with friends. The bar is located in front of the Tapa Tower, right next to the Tapa Tower swimming pool. It offers tropical cocktails and wine (prices are between $8 to $10 per drink). They also serve some food, such as pizza and chips. The bar also has a couch seating area in addition to tables and chairs, so if you want to feel more comfortable you can sit there. The couch area is a bit further from the stage though, where every night at 8 pm there is a live band playing Hawaiian or Hawaiian-American music. Read More →

This bar is located right on the Turtle Bay beach next to the resort’s pool. During the weekends it may get pretty crowded as you can see. If you are a hotel guest, you can choose to have your mai tai drink on one of the pool-side chairs. Really cool, huh? Wow! This was my view from my table. And this was my dinner and my mai tai I had ahi sandwich with fries. The price of this dish is $15 and the mai tai was $8 (i think). If you plan to go to the Hang Ten Beach Bar at Turtle Bay Resort and you want to taste this delicious... [Read more]
