Ala Wai Canal, Honolulu
The Ala Wai Canal (view map) flows along the Honolulu neighborhoods of Waikiki, Ala Moana, McCully and Moiliili. It starts near the Ala Wai Golf Club (near Kapahulu Avenue) and flows into the ocean at the Ala Wai Boat Harbor. The canal is a popular spot for kayaking.
