Waimanalo Beach Park is the longest white-sand beach on Oahu, located on the island’s east shore. Spanning over a distance of three miles, Waimanalo Beach is a great spot for swimming, bodyboarding, kayaking and barbecuing. It is never crowded even on the weekends. On a clear day the beach looks better than on a postcard! The water is azure blue and crystal clear. There are many trees along the shore providing plenty of shade.

The only disadvantage of Waimanalo Beach is that there are many broken glass pieces hidden in the sand and grass, so be aware of that and don’t walk barefoot. Also watch where you put your towel.
