Lanai Marketplace

One of the most well-known attractions and tourist destinations you can find in Lanai City is the outdoor Lanai marketplace at Dole Square Park. Open from 7 in the morning until 11 or 12 noon on Saturdays, the colorful and bustling marketplace features a lot of interesting foodstuffs and ornaments.

You can expect to find newly home-baked goodies, locally grown garden-fresh produce, potted island plants, a diverse fusion of Hawaiian, Filipino and Japanese cuisine, and an exhibit of the local artist’s and craftsmen’s talent can all be seen at the market. One of the many highlights in the Lanai marketplace is its “Fabrao House” products. With her products renowned around the world, Mrs. Dolores Fabrao, a fifth grade teacher on Lanai, whips up scrumptious jams and jellies, entirely made out of freshly handpicked seasonal fruits such as pineapple mango, guava, passion fruit, pineapple, banana, coconut, Surinam cherry, gooseberry and blackberry from her own backyard. Your palate will surely be satisfied between the many flavors available.

The outdoor Lanai marketplace can be found right in the middle of Lanai City. It is just marvelous that the city was planned in such a way that all locations can be easily accessed to each other. With the marketplace near tourist destinations, gourmet restaurants, and activity and recreational sites; discovering and exploring the whole of Lanai Market and its surrounding areas are hassle free.

From a relaxing massage, to an artistic Hawaiian petroglyph, you can find just about anything you are looking for at the outdoor Lanai marketplace.
