Tea House Cottage Bed and Breakfast, Maui

1

Tea House Cottage Bed and BreakfastWe felt so peaceful a the Tea House Cottage Bed and Breakfast. It was not your typical Maui vacation, by any means.

Just getting to it gave us the feeling that we were some place many miles even from Hawaii. You had a bumpy ride on a country road to even get to the place.

Our first clue that this was going to be a different type Mau vacation was that we had a map mailed to us. With our mail system, we were lucky to get it, as usually everything comes late and sometimes not at all.

The rates were good, we thought, and the experience of staying at a Maui Bed and Breakfast that had a reputation for being a little different was worth it. But don’t come here if you’re expecting non stop activities or lots of noise to keep you occupied.

That’s the charm of the place. It has an Asian influence din the furnishing and layout, which I liked. Tara was not so thrilled that way. She likes antiques and more of the overstuffed American look. But the charm grew on her.

The best part was was the bathhouse. It was right out the door from the cottage, and it was very relaxing. When you finished the deck was right there. One day I did nothing but read, use the bathhouse, sun on the deck and eat. Now, that’s a Hawaii vacation.

We were a little more active than that on other days, but I was sorry to leave. I wanted to package this little Mau Bed and Breakfast and take it back to Chicago.

Don\’t go to Tea House Cottage. Go if you want experience jungle life and you don\’t like to sleep at nights. And also break you electronic devices. There is 12V DC to 110 AC converter, which you are not allowed to use at night time. Horroble place. Sorry my english Br, Juhis
