How about a Hawaii vacation that includes fun, sun and staying at a true Hawaiian landmark?
This recently refurbished property is in a great location; very close to the Hawaii Convention Center, if you’re mixing some business with your pleasure, and a short “surf” of about one mile from the fun at Waikiki. A nice open lobby greets you, and there are 1000 or so rooms, and over 50 suites. The rooms are a little smaller than one might expect, but remember this is considered a landmark hotel, and was not originally built with the same ambiance of some the newer and splashier resort properties. Families traveling on a budget might be happy here, if they can get by making a lot of their own entertainment.
Business travelers will like the convenience of the Ala Mona Hotel, and the views from the upper floors will make the Hawaii Vacation that starts after the meetings well worth it. The prices over all tend to be a little easier on the wallet and purse, so you will have that much more for sightseeing and activities. You can do it all the at the Ala Mona Hotel, too. Spend the day poolside, sip some tropical drinks at the Pakele Lounge, walk to the Ala Mona Shopping Center for the latest People Magazine, clean up and have a great Mediterranean and Asian fusion mean at Arron’s Atop the Ala Mona, then party at the popular Rumor’s Nightclub. The Ala Mona is finding its second life with a little sprucing up, and it’s a good buy for those wanting convenience and moderation in pricing.
