There is a happy hour daily between 4pm to 7pm and from 8pm to 10 pm. Local bands play live music as well. Most of the music is modern pop music with some Hawaiian flare. Unfortunately you will hardly even hear authentic Hawaiian music. The music is more mainland style so to say.

The drinks and food are pretty good. I like best the cocktail called ‘Sunset’. If you go in their Happy Hour you can get it for 4 bucks only.

You should know, since the Mai tai bar is very popular these days you may find out it is full when you arrive there. Don’t get disappointed and try again another day. The best time to go is during the week and not in the happy hour time. Although you will not here live music then, you will enjoy the bar’s comfortable couches, a nice drink and a tropical atmosphere.
