Sea Life Park luau review and photos
On this page you can see some images from the Sea Life Park luau on Oahu made by Kaniamea Online Publishing. The luau is my favorite on Oahu! What I like about it is the fact that it is never crowded. The food and the drinks are good. And the show is great too! They always give away a gift to someone from the audience. Before the actual luau feast, there’s a penguin greeting and a dolphin and monk seal show, which makes this luau a great choice for families with children. No one gets bored here. That’s the unique aspect of this luau. No other luau involves an animal show.
The luau is held under a roof or under open sky. It depends on the weather conditions. If you are lucky to visit the luau when it is performed under the open sky, you will find this experience very unique. There are no lights on, besides the ones on the stage, thus the atmosphere is totally Hawaiian-under-stars accompanied with the nice Hawaiian music the band plays before the show. The show is a highlight itself. There are dances from Hawaii, Tahiti, New Zealand and of course the famous Samoan fire-knife dance at the end.
I strongly recommend this luau. Also, the drive to the Sea Life Park from Waikiki is very scenic as well. You will get the chance to drive by the blowhole overlook, Sandy Beach Park and Waimanalo Beach.
